GM Bob Clarke confirmed yesterday that the club had called Leetch's agent and was waiting to hear back from him. The Flyers are looking for some defensive depth because Mike Rathje is currently out with a back injury. "We wanted to see if Leetch was available," Clarke said. "We told him we'd like to talk to the player. We still don't know if Rathje will be out long-term."
