NASCAR Home Tracks
Little, a third-generation driver from Sherrills Ford, N.C., edged fellow first-year competitors Kenzie Ruston and Gray Gaulding for the prestigious award that has been handed out each year since 1988. He finished ninth in the overall season standings with four top fives, six top 10s and a best finish of third in June at Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va. Little is the second member of his family to be named the top rookie in NASCAR K&N Pro Series action. His father, Chad Little, earned the rookie award in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 1986 and the overall series title in 1987 before going on to a career that spanned more than a decade at the top levels of NASCAR racing.
