Our View: Brent appeared in one game with Pittsburgh last season, and did not register any points. He isn't expected to make a fantasy impact next season.

Our View: The 23-year-old Richmond failed to register any points over seven games with Chicago last season. Richmond remains behind the curve as a prospect, and won't likely hold much fantasy value next season.

The Thrashers have re-signed Brett Sterling to a multi-year deal, according to the AP. Specific terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Our View: The 24-year-old winger racked up one goal and two assists over 13 games with Atlanta last season. He spent most of the year with Chicago of the AHL, where he scored 38 goals and 32 assists (70 points) over 70 games.

The Thrashers have signed former Oilers' center Marty Reasoner, according to TSN. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Our View: Reasoner contributed 11 goals and 14 assists over 82 games with Edmonton last season, along with 50 penalty minutes. The 31-year-old vet won't hold any fantasy value in standard leagues for next season.

Our View: Kinch generated 25 points and 73 penalty minutes over 73 games last season with Binghamton of the AHL. He was originally drafted by the Sabres in the fifth round of the 1999 draft.

Our View: The team was pleased to lock up the 24-year-old forward for another two years, and are excited to see him compete in training camp. He is part of the Islanders' youth movement, and could challenge 20 or more goals if he earns a favorable role with the club.
