Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego ChargersSaturday 4/12, 5:16 PM CT
Philip Rivers is progressing nicely in his recovery from ACL surgery in his right knee, this according to the Chargers Official Site. “I started out with a little jog,” Rivers said. “I was going about as hard as I can go today. It feels good. I think I’m ahead, but at least where I need to be right now.”

Our View: Rivers believes he will be completely ready to go when camp opens in July, and barring any future setbacks, he might just end up being right.
Albert Haynesworth, DT, Tennessee TitansSaturday 4/12, 9:48 AM CT
Albert Haynesworth continues to work out on his own, and his rep stated that there have been no recent talks with the Titans about a new long-term deal, according to the Tennessean.

Our View: The team still has plenty of time to get a deal done.
Jevon Kearse, DE, Tennessee TitansSaturday 4/12, 9:44 AM CT
Jevon Kearse has joined his new Titans' team-mates in the off-season conditioning program, according to the Tennessean. Coach Fisher commented, "He spent time back and forth the first go-around. But I think now he realizes he has a chance to really make an impact and to be the 'comeback player' that he wants to be. And to do so he needs to be here. He has been here working out and doing well. He hasn't settled down yet. He is as excited today as he was when he agreed to terms."

Our View: He only made 3.5 sacks in 2007, but he should benefit from a fresh start in his return to Tennessee.
Tony Curtis, TE, Dallas CowboysSaturday 4/12, 9:38 AM CT
Tony Curtis signed an exclusive rights deal with Dallas, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View: His fantasy value is limited, but all three of his catches in 2007 went for touchdowns.
Luke McCown, QB, Tampa Bay BuccaneersSaturday 4/12, 8:27 AM CT
Luke McCown wants to compete for the starting quarterback job in Tampa Bay this season, according to the PewterReport. He stated, "Well you know it's always a competition. Jeff is our starter, but that doesn't keep me from competing to be the starter. I want to be the starter. Right now I'm the number two and competing. That's what were doing right now. We're competing through OTA's. It doesn't matter what you are on the depth chart it's about competing when you get on the field, being prepared, doing what you can to help the team win. And that's the whole point of a team. Everybody has a role. Everybody has a part. Whether I'm starting or being a backup I'm going to put everything I can into it, to help this team win. Again it's about preparation and being ready."

Our View: McCown will likely lose out to Jeff Garcia, but could still serve as the team's top backup.
Stanley Wilson, CB, Detroit LionsSaturday 4/12, 7:28 AM CT
Stanley Wilson has re-signed with the Lions, according to the AP. It was a one-year deal, and financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View: He provides solid veteran leadership on the field, but his fantasy value remains limited.
Brandon Jacobs, RB, New York GiantsSaturday 4/12, 7:24 AM CT
The Giants and Brandon Jacobs' reps are reportedly way apart on contract talks, according to the Star Ledger. The talks are only preliminary, and the team still has plenty of time to work out a new deal for him.

Our View: The rising star bruised his way to 1009 rushing yards in the 2007 season, which ended with a Super Bowl win. The team will take care of him.
Paul Ernster, K, Pittsburgh SteelersSaturday 4/12, 7:20 AM CT
Paul Ernster has inked a one-year deal with the Lions, according to the AP. He was formerly on the Broncos' roster, and will share some of the reps with Jason Hanson in camp.

Our View: He holds no fantasy value, unless Hanson gets hurt.
Bryan Robinson, DT, Arizona CardinalsSaturday 4/12, 7:15 AM CT
Bryan Robinson has inked with the Cardinals, according to Scout.com. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The former member of the Bengals has been brought in to shore up their thin defensive line.

Our View: He will help them, but won't likely help your fantasy team.
