David Vobora, LB, St. Louis RamsFriday 3/19, 7:52 PM CT
The Rams re-signed linebacker David Vobora to a one-year contract on Friday, according to Jim Thomas on Twitter.

Our View: The former Mr. Irrelevant has found a home in St. Louis and was quite the opposite of his moniker last season. He was arguably the Rams' best run-defending linebacker and looks to have a concrete job next season. The team may bring in some competition, but Vobora should be a factor once again.
Joey Porter, LB, Arizona CardinalsFriday 3/19, 7:47 PM CT
According to Adam Schefter on Twitter, the Cardinals signed linebacker Joey Porter to a three-year, $17.5 million contract on Friday.

Our View: The contract has a max value of $24.5 million, which seems pretty steep for Porter. The Cards likely would have been better off bucking up for Karlos Dansby, but it's too late for that now. They've decided to make the soon to be 33-year-old Porter an every-down backer, and despite his nine sacks last season, he's certainly on the down-slope of his career. The Cards have been spending a lot of money lately, but the talent pool they got in return doesn't quite match up.
Landon Johnson, LB, Detroit LionsFriday 3/19, 7:40 PM CT
According to Andy Simms on Twitter, the Lions have signed linebacker Landon Johnson to a one-year contract.

Our View: Johnson will be a backup LB for the Lions, but he does offer some versatility as he can play all three spots.
Allen Barbre, OT, Green Bay PackersFriday 3/19, 5:30 PM CT
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Allen Barbre is not expected to make the Packers final roster next season and is in danger of being cut.

Our View: While athletic and talented, the 2007 fourth-round pick did not live up to expectations when asked to start the first seven games of last season at right tackle. He may draws some interest on the open market if cut, but it appears the Packers have lost their faith in his ability to successfully use his skills on the field.
Adam Jones, CB, Dallas CowboysFriday 3/19, 5:26 PM CT
Updating a previous report, Adam Jones did end up working out for several NFL teams in New Orleans after all on Friday, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View: Apparently the reporter for the Times Picayune who reported the no-show was in the wrong spot. Pacman was there all along and is currently working out for five teams. He may have a shot after all.
Adam Jones, CB, Dallas CowboysFriday 3/19, 4:40 PM CT
According to the New Orleans Times Picayune, Adam Jones didn't show up for his scheduled workout on Friday.

Our View: Pacman had the workout scheduled for over a month, and so far no one has been able to uncover a legitimate excuse as to why he flaked. A good number of teams were supposed to be there, so if something doesn't come back about him having a good reason for not showing there is going to be a crowd of upset NFL people. This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back and ends Pacman's career for good.
Ricky Williams, RB, Miami DolphinsFriday 3/19, 10:53 AM CT
After long representing himself, Ricky Williams has hired agent Drew Rosenhaus, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Our View: This would seem to suggest that Ricky's previously announced plan of retiring after the 2010 season may not be set in stone. At soon to be age 33, however, he will have to have a very good season for that to be the case.
Greg Olsen, TE, Chicago BearsFriday 3/19, 8:41 AM CT
Greg Olsen may still be on the trading block, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View: The Bears have publicly said he will not be traded, but the Sun-Times still believes he'll be moved if the right offer comes along. The Patriots remain a possibility.
Eric Berry, S, Friday 3/19, 7:55 AM CT
Eric Berry is the best overall prospect in the entire 2010 NFL draft class, according to USA Today.

Our View: It's hard to argue. The Bucs look like an early favorite to land his services. Obviously, stay tuned.
Chester Pitts, G, Houston TexansThursday 3/18, 11:15 PM CT
Chester Pitts is visiting the 49ers, according to Matt Maioco's (Santa Rosa Press-Democrat) twitter page.

Our View: Pitts was a quality offensive lineman prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury with Houston in 2009. The team that inks him will be taking a chance that he will bounce back fine. He was also slated to visit Detroit.
