David Harrison, C, Minnesota TimberwolvesMonday 7/7, 7:50 PM CT
The Rocky Mountain News reports that the Nuggets are looking at David Harrison , a free-agent center who played for the Pacers last year. Harrison averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds last season, and 5.0 and 2.9 in his first four seasons with the Pacers.

Our View: The report noted that the Nuggets were one of several teams interested in the free agent, but it appears that Denver could get a home town discount. Harrison played his college ball in Boulder, at the University of Colorado.
Ron Artest, F, Houston RocketsMonday 7/7, 5:48 PM CT
According to the Sacramento Bee, one week after deciding he had made a poor decision not to opt out of his contract, Ron Artest explained his frustration further in an e-mail he sent to ESPN on Monday morning. "I made the comment about making a mistake on my opt out clause because I really did make a mistake. I had wrong info about extension options and it could have cost me a new deal. I was informed that the kings had me in their long term plans so that's why I decided to stay in contract. I just wanted to show loyalty. However when I spoke to the kings that was not an option and I grew frustrated with my decision immediately. I do apologize for being mistakenly frustrated with the kings. It was a mistake that I made and I will move on from. I dont know my future but I'm still a King Haters:)"

Our View: Artest admits he made a mistake -- but now he will begin his campaign to be traded or released. Count on it.
Richard Jefferson, F, Milwaukee BucksMonday 7/7, 5:45 PM CT
Richard Jefferson told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that while he was surprised he was drafted from New Jersey on draft day, he's OK with the trade. "I didn't know," Jefferson said as he was introduced to the local media today at the Bradley Center. "There was no heads up. I found out, and next thing I know, my phone didn't stop ringing for about a week.

Our View: Jefferson believes he will be a good fit with Bucks guard Michael Redd and their skills would complement each other.
