Andray Blatche, F, Washington WizardsWednesday 6/4, 10:37 PM CT
Washington Wizards forward Andray Blatche has been arrested in south-central Virginia on charges of reckless driving and driving on a suspended license, according to the Washington Post.

Our View: This is Blatche's third arrest for driving on a suspended license, clocked going 86 mph in a 70 mph zone. Blatche has been involved in other off-court incidents. In September 2005, three months after the Wizards selected him with the 49th overall pick in the NBA draft out of South Kent Prep in Connecticut, Blatche was shot in an attempted carjacking that took place early one morning near his home in Alexandria. Then, last Aug. 2, Blatche and an acquaintance were arrested and charged with sexual solicitation in Northwest Washington. The 6-foot-11, 248-pound Blatche split time between power forward and center last season, appearing in all 82 regular season games with 15 starts. He averaged a career-best 7.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 20.4 minutes.
Kevin Garnett, F, Boston CelticsWednesday 6/4, 9:38 PM CT
The Celtics have played 20 postseason contests during this years playoffs. In those contests, their offense has scored 100 points just four times (after averaging 100.5 per contest during the regular season). Over those 20 games the offense has mostly been carried by power forward Kevin Garnett (at 21.1 points per game) and swingman Paul Pierce (at 19.0). Ray Allen shows with 14.2 points per game.

Our View: The expected totals for both teams combined, according to Vegas linesmakers, is expected to land in the area of 192 points. If the Celtics can't pick up their scoring then by most measures the Lakers offensive and balanced scoring gives them the edge in this series.
Paul Pierce, G, Boston CelticsWednesday 6/4, 9:31 PM CT
Paul Pierce faces a tough matchup against Kobe Bryant. He is proving to be the Celtics' go-to guy offensively, and there is some concern about how much juice it will take to defend the Lakers All World shooting guard.

Our View: Pierce is the key to the Celtics success. The top dog of the Big Three will have to find a way to play hard on both ends of the court yet take a play or two off to keep his energy level high.
Kobe Bryant, G, Los Angeles LakersWednesday 6/4, 9:28 PM CT
It's a misnomer that Kobe Bryant is the entire offense for the Lakers. In fact the Lakers are a very balanced group offensively. The Triangle offense is a perfect fit for Pau Gasol and four different Lakers are scoring in double-figures this postseason.

Our View: The Lakers are playing solid half court defense, led by Kobe. Their weakness is transitionally, which doesn't come into play in this series with the Celtics more deliberate style.
Chris Wilcox, F, Oklahoma City ThunderWednesday 6/4, 7:45 PM CT
Sonics forward Chris Wilcox has been arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Our View: The arrest occurred in North Carolina where Wilcox resides in the offseason. He was released on $500 bond.
Kyle Korver, F, Utah JazzWednesday 6/4, 2:29 PM CT
Kyle Korver will undergo surgery to remove a bone spur from the top of his left foot on Wednesday night, according to the Sports Network.

Our View: A report on his surgery and a timetable for his recovery are said to be made available on Thursday. He proved to be a solid bench performer for the Jazz, as he averaged 9.9 points over 75 games.
Mehmet Okur, F, Utah JazzWednesday 6/4, 1:28 PM CT
Jerry Sloan said that he will be back to coach the Jazz next season, according to the Deseret News. He commented, "I'm planning on coming back, and looking forward to it. I think we have a good team, and they can get better."

Our View: It will be his 21st season with the club.
