James Jones, F, Portland TrailblazersTuesday 4/15, 11:54 PM CT
James Jones hit six 3-pointers and had 20 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 113-91 victory Tuesday over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Our View: Jones didn't received the playing time many believe he should have this year. His 22 minutes per game didn't allow him to maximize his talents.
Brandon Roy, G, Portland TrailblazersTuesday 4/15, 11:51 PM CT
Brandon Roy had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Portland on Wednesday against Memphis.

Our View: The Trailblazers have a chance to finish above .500 for the first time since the 2002 campaign. They have one final test in Phoenix tomorrow night. If they can win they will finish at 82-80.
Jason Richardson, G, Charlotte BobcatsTuesday 4/15, 11:07 PM CT

Our View: Richardson has had a terrific campaign averaging 22 points and five rebounds per game.
Richard Jefferson, F, Milwaukee BucksTuesday 4/15, 11:03 PM CT
Richard Jefferson scored 28 points in a game that meant nothing for the Nets. New Jersey miss the playoffs this year meaning the NBA won't see players like Vince Carter and Jefferson during the postseason schedule.

Our View: Jefferson added four rebounds and five assists in the 20 point come from behind win over Charlotte.
Al Thornton, F, Los Angeles ClippersTuesday 4/15, 10:51 PM CT
Rookie Al Thornton led the Clippers with 26 points, but LA couldn't fight off a strong division clinching effort by the Hornets on Tuesday night.

Our View: Thornton had 11 points in the first quarter. The rookie continued to impress as the season wore on. His 13 points and five rebounds per game won't make much fantasy noise but on potential alone he will be option for owners in the 2008-09 season.
David West, F, New Orleans HornetsTuesday 4/15, 10:46 PM CT
David West scored 32 helping the New Orleans Hornets clinch the Southwest Division.

Our View: West has been a monster this year. His 20 points and nine rebounds per game have made him a household name in the fantasy realm.
Chris Paul, G, New Orleans HornetsTuesday 4/15, 10:43 PM CT
Chris Paul had 22 point as the New Orleans Hornets clinched the Southwest Division by beating the Los Angeles Clippers 114-92 on Tuesday night.

Our View: Paul is Kobe Bryant's primary competition for the MVP award.
Al Jefferson, F, Minnesota TimberwolvesTuesday 4/15, 10:34 PM CT
Al Jefferson led Minnesota with 30 points as the Wolves get closer to closing out a disappointing season.

Our View: Jefferson wasn't efficient (12-for-26) from the floor but added nine rebounds and a helper in the loss.
Jarvis Hayes, G, Detroit PistonsTuesday 4/15, 10:28 PM CT
Jarvis Hayes scored 20 points in a home courting clinching win for the Detroit Pistons. Hayes added five rebounds and three assists in his 24 minutes of action on Thursday.

Our View: Hayes received more minutes than he normally does (15.3 minutes per game), as the Pistons continue to rest their primary five.
Marvin Williams, F, Atlanta HawksTuesday 4/15, 8:39 PM CT
Marvin Williams led the Hawks with 16 points on Tuesday night. The Hawks starting five took the floor for tonight's initial tip but none played significant minutes.

Maurice Evans, G, Orlando MagicTuesday 4/15, 8:35 PM CT
Maurice Evans scored 27 points and six other Magic players scored in double figures helping Orlando to a 121-105 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.

Our View: Evans scored 23 points in the second half. Neither team played their starters significant minutes.
Mike Bibby, G, Atlanta HawksTuesday 4/15, 7:10 PM CT
Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson and the rest of the starting crew took the floor for the opening tip off in Tuesday night's game against the Magic.

Our View: The game doesn't have any postseason implications, but keeping a unit that is playing well cohesive does.
Darrell Armstrong, G, New Jersey NetsTuesday 4/15, 7:07 PM CT
Darrell Armstrong was in the starting lineup for the Nets on Tuesday.

Our View: This somewhat of a surprise. Devin Harris and Marcus Williams were both available according to the Tuesday lineup card.

Sasha Pavlovic, who injured his leg in the third quarter of Monday's game against the 76ers, is expected to miss two to three weeks with a left ankle sprain, this according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View: Pavlovic underwent an MRI on Tuesday, a test that confirmed he will miss most, if not all of the playoffs depending on how far King James can take the team.
Shawn Marion, F, Miami HeatTuesday 4/15, 5:07 PM CT
Shawn Marion told the Miami Herald that he ''definitely'' would like a contract extension and will have agent Dan Fegan ask the Heat for one this summer -- even though Miami's seemingly in no position to do that because it wants big cap space in 2009.

Our View: Regardless of his future with the Heat, Marion's not expected to opt out of the last year of his deal worth $17.4 million, not in the league's current cap climate.
Wilson Chandler, F, New York KnicksTuesday 4/15, 1:35 PM CT
Wilson Chandler's MRI results came back favorable as he only has a sprained left knee and there are no ligament tears, according to the NY Post. He'll be on crutches for about two weeks before beginning rehab. There was initially fear that he tore his ACL, and the team is relieved that it is only a sprain.

Our View: He is done for the season, but it is good news he will be ready to go for next year.
Carmelo Anthony, F, Denver NuggetsTuesday 4/15, 1:30 PM CT
Carmelo Anthony made a statement on Tuesday following his arrest for suspicion of DUI, according to the Rocky Mountain News. Anthony said, "First of all, everybody knows why I’m in front of you guys today. First of all, I’m just here to truly apologize to my fans, the Denver Nuggets organization, my family and my teammates for the distraction this brought them. Hopefully, we can put this behind us, I can put this behind me, but most importantly I’m here to just man up to my mistake and just to let you know that I’m truly sorry about what happened and everything that’s going on. What happened Monday morning was truly and totally unacceptable. But like I said, I just wanted to let you all know that I apologize, once again, to my fans, to my family, to my teammates for the distraction that I have brought to this organization, to this city and to myself. Once again, I want to thank everybody who’s been with me throughout this whole time, this whole situation. At the same time, truly to let you know that I’m really, really apologetic about the situation. I know that this is uncalled for. Right now it’s kind of bad timing, due to the playoffs, due to our team’s success. For this to happen, like I said, it’s totally unacceptable. Once again, I just want to apologize and let everybody know – let my fans know, let my family know and to let my teammates know -- that I apologize about the situation and that I’m here to man up to my mistake. Once again, thank you and I appreciate it."

Our View: Following his statement he joined his team-mates for practice. No suspensions or fines will be dealt until the results of his blood alcohol are revealed.
Brandan Wright, F, Golden State WarriorsTuesday 4/15, 11:51 AM CT
Brandan Wright is expected to sit tonight due to his groin ailment, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View: Wright only averaged four points over 9.9 minutes per game, and won't be missed.
Wilson Chandler, F, New York KnicksTuesday 4/15, 9:58 AM CT
Wilson Chandler sprained his left knee during battle with the Celtics on Monday, and he will have an MRI on Tuesday, according to the NY Post. His initial X-rays were negative, but the injury may be serious.

Our View: He has been playing well down the stretch, and notably topped 15 points in three of his last five games. Hopefully the injury isn't too bad.
