Only LeBron James played more minutes for the Cavs Thursday than Wallace, which is surprising since the team reportedly wanted to take it easy on their center before the playoffs.

Brandon Roy had an extended workout Wednesday with a friend and a session Thursday with Blazers athletic trainer Jay Jensen, and both Roy and Jensen said the guard will probably play Sunday for the first time since injuring his groin and hip on March 25, according to The Oregonian. "There's still some pain there,'' Roy said. "But there probably will be for the rest of the season. I want to give it a go.'' Good news for Roy owners who were hoping for some contribution from the young stud before the end of the year.

Grant Hill appears to be ready to return to the lineup after missing three games with a strained groin, according to ESPN.com. "I feel like I can play," Hill said. "Assuming there's no problems between now and tomorrow [Friday], I think I will." The 34-year-old has also dealt with a sprained wrist recently. Feel free to stick Hill back in your lineup tomorrow if you normally would.

He will undergo treatment soon and will not be able to participate in basketball-related activity for about a month. Marion has been sidelined with back spasms that forced him to sit out 11 of the past 12 games. Joel Anthony, Alexander Johnson and Stephane Lasme, among others, will see more playing time with Marion out.

Kobe Bryant continues to put the Lakers in position to win with outstanding performances on the court, leading his Lakers to a 104-91 win over Portland this evening. Bryant went 10-of-16 from the field, a strong 4-of-5 from the three-point stripe, and 12-of-13 from the free-throw line to score 36 points, adding 13 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Kobe is the man and continues to play like the best player in the league.

Martell Webster played just 27 minutes in the 91-104 loss for the Portland Trail Blazers in Los Angeles to the Lakers, but he did what he could to make noise. Webster went 7-of-11 from the field and an amazing 6-of-9 from three-point land to score 23 points. Webster has shown strong potential when given the opportunity, so he may be a player to watch next season.
