Kevin Harvick, Wednesday 9/3, 11:18 PM CT
Both Greg Biffle and Kevin Harvick will clinch their berths in the Chase by simply starting the Chevy Rock & Roll 400.

Our View: That will take some of the pressure off their shoulders and allow them to go flat out for victory, which will be particularly important for Harvick since he enters the weekend with a seven-race top-10 streak at Richmond.
Tony Stewart, Wednesday 9/3, 11:01 PM CT
According to ESPN.com, Jay Frye is the latest acquisition rumored to go to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2009 and the vice president/general manager for Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman.

Our View: Frye has been general manager of MB2 Motorsports, Ginn Racing and most recently Red Bull Racing and in those roles he has learned to stretch a budget, which should be good news for Stewart and Newman next year.
David Stremme, Wednesday 9/3, 12:40 PM CT
David Stremme has been tapped to drive the No. 12 Penske Dodge in 2009, according to NASCAR.com. He will take over for Ryan Newman.

Our View: Stremme has been working as a test driver for Roger Penske this year and running well in the Nationwide Series for Rusty Wallace. In 75 previous Cup starts, he has earned three top-10s.
