An MRI revealed that Paul Shuey didn't tear anything in his right Achilles tendon when he heared it pop on Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun. Although he's expected to miss at least two weeks due to the strain, at least it's not more serious.

Paul Shuey, who is attempting to make a comeback with the Orioles this year after dealing with labrum issues last season, strained his Achilles tendon on Friday against the Nationals, according to the AP. "It popped," he said. "It's pretty upsetting. Whatever. Life will stink for a while and then I'll get to throw again." He'll be sidelined for at least two weeks, which will hinder his chances of making the team out of spring training.

The Orioles signed Paul Shuey to a minor league deal on Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun. He has made only one professional appearance in the past three seasons due to a labrum problem in his right hip. He'll attempt to win a bullpen job during the spring.
