Our View: Wolfe's return from the 15-day DL was scheduled for today, but manager John Gibbons instead expects Wolfe to play catch in the outfield "sometime soon." Assuming all goes well, Wolfe is likely to head to the minors for a rehab stint. The team has not put a timetable to his return and remains open with a tentative-and-loose set of accomplishments they want to see Wolfe complete before moving him along to the next.

The Jays first-round pick in the 2004 amateur draft, Purcey was 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA in three starts at Syracuse this season.
