Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 6/3, 8:40 AM CT
Brian Wolfe has been demoted to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Our View: Wolfe was replaced by Dirk Hayhurst in the pen. He was not effective in seven appearances this season, allowing seven runs in just 8.1 innings.

The Blue Jays recalled Brian Wolfe from Triple-A Las Vegas, according to TSN.

Our View: The 28-year-old could pitch well in the Jays' bullpen, but will only hold value in deeper fantasy leagues that feature middle relievers.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 3/23, 11:12 AM CT
Brian Wolfe is unlikely to make the Blue Jays' opening day roster as he has been slowed by a shoulder ailment, according to the Toronto Star.

Our View: It is uncertain when he may be ready to pitch in a game, and the middle reliever should not be considered for fantasy rosters as of now.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 3/10, 4:18 PM CT
Brian Wolfe took the loss for Toronto on Tuesday after giving up three hits, four earned runs, and a home run to Pat Burrell in 1/3 of an inning. The Blue Jays lost to the Rays 11-4.

Our View: Wolfe was called up from Triple-A in September last year and has a good shot at sticking in middle relief for the Blue Jays.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 9/2, 1:52 PM CT
Brian Wolfe has been called up from Triple-A Syracause, according to the AP.

Our View: Wolfe has battled a right triceps injury this season, but only allowed six earned runs and five walks over 18 innings with Toronto. He is worth consideration in leagues that use middle men.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 7/21, 10:30 PM CT
The Blue Jays optioned Brian Wolfe to Triple-A on Monday night in order to clear a roster spot for Shaun Marcum, the AP reports. Marcum will start on Tuesday.

Our View: Wolfe owns a 2.98 ERA and 1.04 WHIP over 55 career appearances for the Blue Jays, but apparently that's not good enough for the club.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 6/7, 12:00 PM CT
Right-handed pitcher Brian Wolfe has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse, according to the AP. As an adjoining move, the team optioned infielder Joe Inglett to Syracuse.

Our View: Wolfe allowed three runs on eight hits over 7.1 innings, with two walks this season. The reliever does not merit fantasy consideration.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 6/5, 12:07 PM CT
Pitcher Brian Wolfe has been activated from the DL, and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse, according to CBSsports.com.

Our View: Wolfe allowed three runs on eight hits over 7.1 innings, with two walks and five strikeouts this season, and only held some value in very deep AL-only leagues.

Manager John Gibbons stated that righty Brian Wolfe is playing catch and might be able to begin pitching off a mound again in about a week, as he recovers from a strained right triceps, according to MLB.com. Gibbons said it would likely be at least two more weeks before Wolfe would be ready to be activated from the 15-day DL.

Our View: Wolfe will compete for playing time out of the Jays' pen when he is ready to come back. He holds little fantasy value as a long-reliever, especially as he allowed eight hits (and three earned runs) over 7.1 innings this season.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 5/3, 12:28 PM CT
The Toronto Blue Jays report RHP Brian Wolfe has yet to pick up a baseball since landing on the 15-day disabled list on April 18th and is at least a week to 10 days away from returning to duty, according to MLB.com.

Our View: Wolfe's return from the 15-day DL was scheduled for today, but manager John Gibbons instead expects Wolfe to play catch in the outfield "sometime soon." Assuming all goes well, Wolfe is likely to head to the minors for a rehab stint. The team has not put a timetable to his return and remains open with a tentative-and-loose set of accomplishments they want to see Wolfe complete before moving him along to the next.
Brian Wolfe, P, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 4/17, 6:10 PM CT
Jays' right-hander Brian Wolfe was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained right triceps.

Our View: Toronto recalled pitcher David Purcey from Triple-A Syracuse. The Jays first-round pick in the 2004 amateur draft, Purcey was 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA in three starts at Syracuse this season.
