Chris Schroder, P, Florida MarlinsTuesday 5/19, 2:37 PM CT
Chris Schroeder has been recalled by the A's from Triple-A Sacramento, according to TSN.

Our View: Schoeder was 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA over 19 innings at Sacramento, with 18 strikeouts. He could help the A's bullpen, but does not look to hold much fantasy value as a middle reliever.

Chris Schroeder has been designated for assignment by the Athletics, according to the Journal News. The club claimed Dan Giese off waivers from the Yankees, and moved Schroeder to make room on the 40-man roster.

Our View: Schroeder would not have held much fantasy value as a middle reliever with Oakland.

The Athletics have signed former Nationals' reliever Chris Schroeder, according to the Associated Press. He received a one-year deal, but financial terms were not disclosed.

Our View: The 30-year-old was added as a middle reliever to help bridge the gap to projected closer Brad Ziegler.

Chris Schroder was signed by the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Schroder only appeared in four games last year, posting a 5.40 ERA. He doesn't figure to have any fantasy value in 2009.

The Washington Nationals have recalled RHP Chris Schroder from Triple-A Columbus today, giving the hurler his third attempt with the major-league squad this season, according to MLB.com.

Our View: The Nationals made the move after placing infielder Ronnie Belliard on the 15-day disabled list. Schroder has no decisions in three starts this season with a promising 2.25 ERA. Last season he went 2-3 with an ERA of 3.18 in 37 appearances out of the Washington bullpen.

Right-handed pitcher Chris Schroeder has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus, according to the AP.

Our View: With Columbus, Schroder has a 3-2 record with a 3.45 ERA in 12 games. This is his third stint with the big league team, and he has no record with a 2.25 ERA in three appearances for the Nationals in 2008.
Chris Schroder, P, Florida MarlinsMonday 5/12, 8:36 PM CT
According to the Washington Post, the Nationals called up right-handed reliever Chris Schroder. For the time being, Schroder solves at least one problem. In the middle of Washington's 16-game stretch without an off day, Schroder can prevent the bullpen from being worn too thin. In 10 games with Columbus, Schroder, 29, has gone 2-1 with three saves and a 1.26 ERA.

Our View: Schroder also has 60 games of big league experience, including an earlier stint this season with the Nationals.
