Chris Stewart, C, New York YankeesWednesday 2/18, 10:58 AM CT
Chris Stewart is pleased to be back with the White Sox following stints with the Rangers and Yankees over the last two seasons, according to the Chicago Tribune. He said, "When I left, I thought opportunities were better elsewhere. Once I was gone, I did not realize how good it was here. The grass is not greener on the other side. It is good to be back."

Our View: Stewart may be grateful to be back with the Sox, but the 27-year-old catcher is only expected to provide organizational depth.

Catcher Chris Stewart has been called up from Triple-A Scranton, according to the NY Post. The team made the move, as Jorge Posada has been placed on the DL due to his shoulder ailment.

Our View: Stewart will serve as Jose Molina's backup. Stewart holds no fantasy value. If Jorge Posada is forced to undergo surgery for his injury, then the team would reportedly bring in another veteran catcher.
