Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 10/4, 7:41 PM CT
Scott Feldman allowed four earned runs on six hits and a walk over six innings on Sunday. He fanned four but failed to win his 18th game and fell to 17-8 with a 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Our View: Feldman was a huge fantasy surprise this season, but struggled in his last three starts. He had a chance to be the majors only 20-game winner, but lost his final three outings and allowed 15 earned runs over that stretch, raising his ERA from 3.62 to 4.08.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 9/30, 12:07 AM CT
Scott Feldman gave up four earned runs on seven hits over 3.2 innings in Tuesday's 5-2 loss at the Angels. He had three walks with three strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman struggled tonight, and is now 17-7 with a 4.02 ERA for the season. He has allowed four or more earned runs in three of his last four starts.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 9/24, 6:11 PM CT
Scott Feldman had a rare rough outing on Thursday afternoon as the Rangers fell to the A's by a score on 12-3. Fedman lasted only 3.1 innings and allowed seven runs on seven hits while walking five and striking out two.

Our View: Feldman fell to 17-6 on the season, so this start was obviously the exception rather than the rule. He has come seemingly out of nowhere to be one of the better pitchers in the AL this season, and even the best struggle on occasion.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 9/19, 9:08 PM CT
Scott Feldman had a nice outing on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over 6.2 innings. He fanned four and held off the Angels for a 3-2 win and his 17 victory.

Our View: Feldman in now 17-5 on the season and has been dominant in five of his last six starts. His only hiccup was a six-run, six-inning outing his last time out. Saturday's start lowered his ERA to 3.62.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersMonday 9/14, 10:51 PM CT
Scott Feldman was hammered for six earned runs on six hits over 6.1 innings in Monday's 9-0 loss to Oakland at Rangers Ballpark. He had one walk with five strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman struggled tonight, and is now 16-5 with a 3.65 ERA. He allowed one or less earned runs in each of his previous four starts, and should be able to bounce back strong in his next trip to the hill.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 9/9, 2:43 PM CT
Scott Feldman was brilliant on Wednesday, holding the Indians scoreless for seven innings in a 10-0 win. He allowed just five hits and a pair of walks while striking out five en route to his 16th win.

Our View: Feldman is an aberration this season. He's now 16-4 with a more than respectable 3.46 ERA after 26 starts. In 25 starts last season he went 6-8 with a bloated 5.28 ERA. The Rangers de-facto ace has now allowed just one run over his last 26.1 innings.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 9/4, 9:19 PM CT
Scott Feldman only surrendered one earned run on four hits over 6.2 innings in Friday's 5-1 win at Baltimore. He had two walks and two strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman continues to enjoy his breakout campaign, as he collected his team-leading 15th win tonight. He is 6-0 over his last seven starts, and allowed one or less earned runs in each of his last three.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 8/29, 10:05 PM CT
Scott Feldman pitched 5.2 scoreless innings en route to his 14th victory on Saturday night, as the Rangers blanked the Twins 3-0 in Minnesota.

Our View: He only struck out two, and walked four, but the effort marked his 12th quality outing in 24 starts this season.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 8/23, 3:50 PM CT
Scott Feldman pitched seven dominant innings on Sunday, allowing no runs while striking out 11 Rays, as the Rangers won 4-0 in Tampa.

Our View: Feldman is now 13-4 with a 3.87 ERA, and fast becoming one of the best young starters in the game.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 8/18, 11:24 PM CT
Scott Feldman was rocked for five earned runs on nine hits over 5.2 innings in Tuesday's 9-6 loss to the Twins at Rangers Ballpark. He had one walk and four strikeouts.

Our View: The game was tied 5-5 when Feldman exited, so he ends the night with a no-decision instead of a loss for his weak performance. He was 12-4 with a 3.90 ERA heading into tonight's game, and collected a win in three of his previous four starts. He should bounce back fine, and shall remain active in fantasy lineups.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 8/13, 2:32 PM CT
Scott Feldman put together another excellent start on Thursday as the Rangers beat the Indians 4-1. Feldman went six innings and allowed only one run on seven hits while walking two and striking out six.

Our View: Feldman is now 12-4 on the season, and that record is no joke. He made another quality start today, giving him six in his last seven starts, and he has really settled in as a good starter for the Rangers. If Feldman is a free agent in your league, you should give him a look, especially while he is hot right now.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 8/2, 10:07 PM CT
Scott Feldman looked great against the Mariners on Sunday. He allowed just two runs on five hits and two walks over seven solid innings and earned his tenth win of the season. He fanned four in the Rangers' 4-2 win.

Our View: Feldman has a sub-four ERA and reached double digit wins for the first time in his career. He's having a surprisingly effective season for the new-look Rangers and has five quality starts in his last six outings.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 8/1, 5:13 PM CT
Scott Feldman has been slated to start Sunday's game against Seattle, according to the Dallas Morning News. Kevin Millwood was going to pitch Sunday, but was pushed back to Monday while recovering from a strained glute.

Our View: Feldman will be pitching on three days of rest, but should be fine to pencil into lineups, namely with a favorable match-up against the Mariners. Feldman is 9-4 with a 3.99 ERA and 1.22 WHIP.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 7/29, 10:55 PM CT
Scott Feldman was rocked for six earned runs on 10 hits over 2.1 innings in Wednesday's 13-5 loss to the Tigers at Rangers Ballpark. He had two walks and one strikeout, and was tagged for two homers.

Our View: Feldman had a nightmarish outing, and was a disappointment after firing eight scoreless innings in his last start at Kansas City. He is 9-4 with a 3.99 ERA, and should be able to bounce back fine.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 7/24, 10:17 PM CT
Scott Feldman only issued four hits over eight scoreless innings in Friday's 2-0 win at Kansas City. He had three walks and two strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman was dominant tonight, and now co-leads with Kevin Millwood for the team lead with nine wins.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 7/18, 10:38 PM CT
Scott Feldman gave up three earned runs on five hits over six innings in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Twins at Rangers Ballpark. He issued no walks and fired five strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman had his three-game winning streak snapped, but only took his third loss of the season. Keep him active in fantasy leagues.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 7/11, 12:03 AM CT
Scott Feldman only allowed two earned runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings in Friday's 6-4 win at Seattle. He had one walk and one strikeout.

Our View: Feldman has a three-game winning streak, and is 8-2 for the season. He should remain active in fantasy leagues for his next turn in the Rangers' rotation.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 7/5, 10:19 PM CT
Scott Feldman only allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits over six innings in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Rays at Rangers Ballpark. He issued four walks with two strikeouts.

Our View: It was a strong outing for Feldman other than the four free passes. Feldman snapped a four-game slump without a win, and now has seven victories for the season. He is worth employing in fantasy lineups for his next trip to the hill.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 6/30, 11:17 PM CT
Scott Feldman allowed three earned runs on six hits over six innings in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Angels at Rangers Ballpark. He issued two walks with three strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman did not have a great outing, but his teammates provided enough offensive support for him to claim his sixth win of the season. He ended a four-game skid without a win.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 6/26, 1:08 AM CT
Scott Feldman gave up three earned runs on four hits over six innings in Thursday's 9-8 win at Arizona. He had one walk and one strikeout.

Our View: Feldman takes a no-decision, and the game went 12 innings. He has gone four straight starts without a win.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 6/20, 12:48 AM CT
Scott Feldman was rocked for five earned runs on eight hits over six innings in Friday's 6-4 loss at San Francisco. He had one walk, five strikeouts, and gave up two homers.

Our View: Feldman falls to 5-2, and his ERA climbs to 4.02. He has allowed two or less earned runs eight times this season, and should be able to bounce back fine from tonight's poor outing.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 6/13, 11:29 PM CT
Scott Feldman only allowed three hits over five scoreless innings in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers at Rangers Ballpark. He had no walks with one strikeout.

Our View: He pitched very well tonight, but was unfortunately forced to take a no-decision rather than a win due to poor run support from his teammates. Feldman has three wins over his last five starts, and should remain active in fantasy leagues.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersMonday 6/8, 10:27 PM CT
Scott Feldman struggled from the hill in Monday's 6-3 loss to Toronto at Rangers Ballpark, as he gave up four earned runs on seven hits over six innings. He had two walks and two strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman suffered his first loss of 2009, and is now 5-1. He had a three-game winning streak heading into tonight's loss, and should bounce back fine.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 6/3, 9:51 PM CT
Scott Feldman improved to 5-0 as the Rangers beat the Yankees 4-2 on Wednesday. He scattered five hits and three walks while allowing two runs and striking out five.

Our View: Feldman has won each of his last three decisions. While he has lasted at least six innings in each of his last six starts, he has not completed the seventh in any of them. He does not record many strikeouts, but opponents are only hitting .224 against him. He looks to be a solid option in AL-only leagues.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 5/29, 10:19 PM CT
Scott Feldman improved to 4-0 on the season with a strong performance on Friday night. He surrendered just two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings as the Rangers swept a doubleheader with a 5-2 win over the A's.

Our View: Feldman now has his ERA down to 3.91 on the season and has ripped off five quality starts in a row. He rarely goes more than six innings and isn't a good source of Ks, but his win total and ERA make him a nice fantasty candidate in many formats.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 5/23, 7:11 PM CT
Scott Feldman was solid against Houston on Saturday, improving to 3-0 after giving up three runs off five hits and two walks while striking out five in 6.2 innings.

Our View: The 26-year-old has been excellent his past five starts. It's always tough to trust a pitcher in Texas, but it would not be a terrible idea to pick Feldman up if you have a roster spot to spare and see if he can maintain this success.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 5/17, 4:29 PM CT
Scott Feldman delivered six shutout innings, but he did not factor in the decision in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Angels. He scattered six baserunners and struck out three. He did not allow a single extra base hit.

Our View: Feldman has been very effective since moving into the starting rotation. Over his five starts, he is 2-0 with a 2.74 ERA and opponents are hitting just .183 against him. In 6.2 innings of relief this season, he posted a 12.15 ERA and had a .355 BAA.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 5/12, 11:00 PM CT
Scott Feldman tossed 6.1 innings of one-run ball and allowed just four hits and two walks against the Mariners in a 7-1 win on Tuesday night. He did not factor in the decision.

Our View: Feldman had a fine outing on Tuesday, but has not had avery good season to date. He's starting to turn it around, but has a big problem going deep into games. In four starts in April he only amassed 11.2 innings. May has been better, but he's still probably relegated to deep AL-only leagues.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 5/6, 11:52 PM CT
Scott Feldman improved to 2-0 after allowing just two runs over six innings to the A's on Wednesday night. Feldman allowed four hits and two walks while picking up three Ks.

Our View: With Kris Benson moving to the bullpen, Feldman went about solidifying his spot in the starting rotation with this solid effort, though to be fair, it was against the worst offense in the American League.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 5/5, 9:12 AM CT
The Rangers like what they've seen enough from Scott Feldman that the righty could stay in the rotation even when Kris Benson comes off the DL, according to the Star-Telegram. "We've been very pleased with how Feldman's thrown in his starts," Daniels said.

Our View: Feldman holds a 3.38 ERA in two starts, but the three runs he was charged with in his last start scored after he came out of the game. Even as a member of the rotation, his fantasy value is minimal.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 4/1, 1:52 PM CT
Scott Feldman will start the season in the bullpen in order to open up a spot in the rotation for Kris Benson, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View: Even when you're training camp is in Surprise, AZ, it has to be somewhat shocking to find out that you just lost your spot in the rotation to Kris Benson. Feldman didn't hold any fantasy value in the first place, but he has more upside than Benson. Should someone in the rotation falter, expect Feldman to get jerked back into the starting mix.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 3/10, 7:44 PM CT
Scott Feldman had a solid outing Tuesday against the Giants, going three innings while allowing no runs and just one hit.

Our View: Feldman brought himself back into the good graces of manager Ron Washington today, after allowing seven runs on nine hits in his previous start.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 2/27, 6:10 PM CT
Scott Feldman was rocked in his spring training debut. He gave up nine hits and seven runs (four earned)in 1.2 innings as the Rangers fell 10-4 to the Cubs on Friday.

Our View: Feldman is supposed to be competing for a starting job, but he continues to be very hittable. In 25 starts last season, he had a 6-8 record to go with a 5.29 ERA and 1.43 WHIP.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 9/21, 5:07 PM CT
Scott Feldman fell to 5-8 on Sunday as he allowed eight hits (two home runs) and six runs over six innings.

Our View: Feldman has permitted 17 earned runs over his last 19.2 innings (7.78 ERA), and with a 1.29 K/BB mark this season, it is clear that success will likely continue to elude the tall righty.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 9/13, 5:51 PM CT
Scott Feldman was rocked for six earned runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings in Saturday's 7-1 loss to Oakland, with two walks and two strikeouts.

Our View: Feldman has allowed 10 earned runs over his last two starts, and is 1-4 over his last seven outings. Feldman should not be considered for fantasy lineups.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 8/31, 8:18 AM CT
Rangers hurler Scott Feldman may see his next turn in the rotation skipped, as the team is concerned about his decreasing velocity, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Our View: Feldman is not worthy of a spot on fantasy owners rosters in any format, with an ERA over 5.00, and a poor K/BB ratio.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 8/7, 10:07 PM CT
Scott Feldman pitched well, but picked up his fifth loss of the season as the Yankees downed the Rangers 3-0. Feldman went seven innings, giving up two earned runs while striking out four.

Our View: Feldman has a decent WHIP, but his ERA is too high and he doesn't strike out nearly enough people to warrant fantasy consideration.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersMonday 7/21, 6:53 PM CT
The Rangers called up Scott Feldman to start on Monday against the White Sox, the AP reports.

Our View: Feldman will likely stick around for only one start, and we don't recommend picking him up.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 7/11, 4:25 PM CT
Scott Feldman was sent down to Frisco by the Rangers on Friday, according to the Star-Telegram.

Our View: Feldman had piled up an impressive 87.2 innings on the season but still carries a 5.03 ERA. The Rangers will give Kam Low and newly acquired Jose Diaz a chance to show if they can do any better.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 7/1, 6:52 PM CT
The Rangers report pitchers Scott Feldman and Eddie Guardado are going to be given extra rest by the team, according to MLB.com.

Our View: Feldman is fine physically but is starting to pile up innings in his first year as a starter. The Rangers are going to use Thursday's day off to give him extra rest. Feldman's turn comes up on Sunday against the Orioles, but he's being pushed back to Tuesday against the Angels. Guardado was unavailable to pitch on Tuesday night, one day after having to come out of Monday's game with inflammation in his left shoulder. Guardado came in and warmed up to pitch the eighth inning, but he had to come out when he felt the shoulder act up.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersMonday 6/30, 11:53 PM CT
Scott Feldman earned his first career road victory as the Rangers defeated the Yankees 2-1 on Monday night. His last appearance in the Bronx was a 14-13 loss for Texas in 2006 in which he gave up three runs while getting just one out in relief.

Our View: Feldman allowed one run on four hits, walked three and struck out three for his second win.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 6/19, 6:31 PM CT
Scott Feldman gave up two runs and five hits in seven innings of work and was in line for the win on Thursday afternoon until the Texas bullpen, closer C.J. Wilson, blew up for the second straight game.

Our View: Feldman allowed two runs on five hits, walked three and struck out four. The right-hander will keep his spot in the rotation after today's effort. Not that the Rangers have many choices on the farm, especially after firing the volatile Sidney Ponson.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 6/13, 10:48 PM CT
Scott Feldman allowed seven runs (six earned) on eight hits as the Rangers dropped to 1-8 in the right-hander's starts.

Our View: The Rangers, owners of the the worst pitching staff in the American League, are desperate. The fact that Feldman hasn't scored a victory since May 9 and the team has only one win in his nine starts isn't expected to threaten his spot in the rotation.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 6/13, 1:59 PM CT
Scott Feldman will be looking to nail down his first win since May 9 when he takes on the Mets at Shea Stadium, according to MLB.com. Feldman is 1-2 over 10 games (eight starts), with a 4.31 ERA and 1.21 WHIP.

Our View: He has gone at least six innings in seven straight starts, and only allowed two runs over seven innings in his last outing against the Rays.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 6/1, 7:19 PM CT
Scott Feldman allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits, walked two and struck out two in six innings of work.

Our View: Feldman lost what should have been a win when reliever Jamey Wright gave up four runs on two hits in the seven inning before recording an out. The A's went on to score nine seventh-inning runs in a 13-8 victory.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 5/14, 5:22 PM CT
Scott Feldman allowed one run on six hits, walked none and struck out four in seven innings of work. The Rangers ended up losing the extra-inning affair 4-3 to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday afternoon.

Our View: Feldman earned himself two starts (at Minnesota - at Cleveland) in Fantasy Week 7 with this effort.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 5/9, 10:07 PM CT
Scott Feldman pitched six innings, stretching Texas' scoreless streak to 28 consecutive innings. Feldman, a converted reliever, allowed two hits, walked four and struck out one in six innings of work.

Our View: The Rangers had the privilege of facing a struggling Mariners team earlier in the week allowing their below average pitching staff to accumulate their current string of scoreless innings.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 4/24, 8:11 AM CT
Converted reliever Scott Feldman will make his second start of the season today against the Tigers, according to MLB.com.

Our View: He is replacing Kason Gabbard, who is headed to the DL due to a strained muscle in his back. Feldman turned in a quality start against Toronto on April 13, as he allowed three runs over six innings, but he isn't worth consideration for your roster, especially with a 1.67 WHIP.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 4/23, 8:09 PM CT
In a flurry of decisions involving their pitching staff, the Texas Rangers have announced pitcher Scott Feldman will fill starting duties on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers, according to MLB.com.

Our View: The decision to place Kason Gabbard on the DL has the team facing several issues, including the preliminary plans for starting assignments. This has also brought the Rangers to schedule Jason Jennings to start on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSunday 4/13, 6:38 PM CT
Scott Feldman gave the Rangers a chance to win on Sunday, which is all the team could have asked. The right-hander held the Blue Jays to three runs over six full innings. Feldman served up eight hits and two walk but kept the Blue Jays from having a big inning. The former reliever took a no-decision.

Our View: Feldman was only up for a one-start outing, but his decent showing may mean he'll get a call the next time the Rangers need a starter.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 4/11, 5:48 PM CT
Scott Feldman will be called up by the Rangers to start on Sunday against Toronto, this according to the Dallas Morning News. This move is being made to allow Jason Jennings an extra day of rest and to split up Kevin Millwood and Vincente Padilla in the rotation. Feldman allowed only one run and three hits in his lone minor league start this season, but last year he really struggled at the major league level with 32 BB in 39 innings making him one to avoid until he proves he has harnessed his stuff.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersFriday 6/15, 8:35 PM CT
The Rangers optioned Scott Feldman to Triple-A Oklahoma on Friday, according to the AP. He is 1-2 with a 6.66 ERA in 19 relief appearances for the Rangers.

Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersMonday 8/21, 9:10 AM CT

Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersSaturday 8/19, 8:38 AM CT

Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersThursday 8/17, 6:10 PM CT
Scott Feldman was suspended six games by major league baseball for his role in Wednesday's brawl with the Angels. Assuming no appeals, Feldman will begin serving his suspension next week after Vicente Padilla serves his suspension.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersTuesday 8/15, 4:14 PM CT
To replace Kip Wells on the roster, the Rangers recalled Scott Feldman from Triple-A Oklahoma on Monday, according to the AP. Feldman has posted a 5.01 ERA in 32 1/3 IP for the Rangers this season.
Scott Feldman, P, Texas RangersWednesday 8/2, 7:38 PM CT
The Rangers optioned Scott Feldman back to Triple-A Oklahoma on Wednesday to clear a spot on their roster for new arrival Kip Wells, according to the AP. Feldman was just recalled Monday night and was perfect over 1 1/3 innings on Tuesday.
