The Mets have signed Eude Brito to a minor league contract, according to MetsBlog.com. The former member of the Phillies allowed 24 runs in 40 innings while striking out 24 and walking 23, over 11 games spanning 2005 and 2006.

Our View: He won't likely see much action while working out of the Mets' bullpen, and holds little fantasy value.

Eude Brito tossed a bullpen session yesterday and is slated to throw batting practice tomorrow, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. It's the first action this spring for Brito, who is recovering from a sore shoulder sustained in an offseason car accident.
