| The Yankees will recall Kevin Thompson from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace Jason Giambi on the roster, according to Newsday. Thompson had two hits in eight at-bats in an earlier stint this year with the Yankees. He is hitting .260 with two homers, 17 RBI and 11 steals for Scranton. Thompson doesn't figure to see much playing time. |
