Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 10/3, 8:02 AM CT
Adam Lind (elbow) will attempt to return to the Jays lineup tonight, according to the Toronto Sun.

Our View: He has been out since Jonathan Papelbon hit him in the elbow with a pitch on Tuesday. With there being only two games left in the season, he'll likely play through the pain and suit up tonight.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 10/1, 8:44 AM CT
MLB.com is reporting that Adam Lind could be out until Friday with a sore elbow after being hit by a Jonathan Papelbon pitch on Tuesday. Lind was not in the Blue Jays' lineup on Wednesday, and he isn't expected to play Thursday either.

Our View: The X-rays came back negative on Lind's elbow, so expect him to return to the lineup in another day or two. He is coming off a three home run performance in his last outing, so hopefully the time off won't cool him down.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 9/29, 10:31 PM CT

Our View: It's simply a day off rest for the Jays' burgeoning young power hitter. Randy Ruiz is taking his place at DH.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 9/26, 3:52 PM CT

Our View: The home runs were Lind's 31st and 32nd of the season, and he also got his average back above .300 with the performance. Lind also bumped his RBI total to 109 and has been one of the better overall power hitters in the entire MLB all year long.

Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 9/13, 8:10 AM CT
The Toronto Sun is reporting that Blue Jays' DH Adam Lind is questionable for Sunday's game. Lind missed Saturday's affair with a right shin contusion.

Our View: Lind fouled a ball off his shin on Friday, and he is stll feeling pretty sore toay. We will keep you updated on his status, but be prepared to go without.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 9/10, 2:47 PM CT
Adam Lind went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI in the Blue Jays' 3-2 win over the Twins on Thursday afternoon. Lind's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning gave the Jays a lead they would hold for the rest of the game.

Our View: Lind continues his breakout season, and he is nearing 100 RBI with 96. His average is still over .300 at .301, and there is no reason to think he will cool off before the season is out.

Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 8/30, 6:02 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with two doubles in the Blue Jays' 7-0 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.

Our View: Lind now has 41 doubles on the season and has been an offensive stalwart for the struggling Jays this season. Lind has ripped at least eight doubles in every month this season.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 8/22, 3:20 PM CT
Adam Lind's three-run bomb in the fourth inning made it 3-3 on Saturday, but would be the only runs the Blue Jays could muster, as they lost 7-3 to the Angels at home.

Our View: Lind, 2008's Ryan Ludwick, now has 25 home runs and 79 RBI through 116 games for Toronto.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 8/18, 9:58 PM CT
Adam Lind had a solid outing in tonight's 10-9 loss to Boston at the Rogers Centre, as he went 2-for-5 with two RBI. He hit a single and a double.

Our View: Lind recorded more than one RBI in a game for the first time this month, and has 76 for the season. He raised his batting average to .296 tonight as well.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 8/14, 9:14 PM CT

Our View: Lind has a hit in four straight games, and continues to lead the Jays with 74 RBI. He hit his 24th homer tonight as well.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 8/5, 9:49 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-5 with a single and a solo homer off Sergio Mitre in tonight's 8-4 loss to the Yankees at the Rogers Centre.

Our View: Lind hit a homer in three of his last six games, and has 23 for the season. He should remain a solid source for power, despite playing his home games in a pitcher's park.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 7/29, 6:39 PM CT
Adam Lind went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer off Ryan Rowland-Smith in Wednesday's 3-2 loss at Seattle.

Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 7/18, 3:29 PM CT
Adam Lind hit his 20th home run of the season on Saturday, as the Blue Jays beat the Red Sox 6-2 at Fenway Park.

Our View: Lind's breakout season has shown no signs of slowing down, and there is no immediate need to sell high on him. It appears that he's just this good.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 7/9, 3:07 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Thursday in the Blue Jays' 3-2 loss to the Rays. Lind is hitting .309 on the year.

Our View: Lind continues to hit the ball, and it is starting to look like he will keep it up all season. It looks like he will miss out on an All-Star invitation, but he is still a strong fantasy play in all leagues.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 7/6, 11:02 AM CT
Adam Lind is not in the Monday afternoon lineup for the Toronto Blue Jays. Aaron Hill is hitting in Lind's DH spot, while John McDonald takes over at second base.

Our View: Lind has been smoking hot this season, but he will sit today. Fantasy owners should replace him in the lineup quickly if possible, but expect him back tomorrow.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 7/4, 5:33 PM CT
Adam Lind continued his torrid 2009 hitting on the Fourth of July, socking his team leading 17th home run, but it wasn't enough as the Blue Jays lost 6-5 to the Yankees in 12 innings.

Our View: Lind looks like 2008's version of Ryan Ludwick - an outfielder who starts hot out-of-nowhere and keeps it up for the whole season. He should be owned in every format, and isn't even necessarily a great sell-high option since he has shown no signs of cooling off.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 7/1, 4:40 PM CT
Adam Lind helped lead the Jays in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Rays at the Rogers Centre, as he went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. He hit a double and a solo homer off James Shields.

Our View: Lind raises his season average to .315, and leads the Jays with 25 doubles. He has two hits in three straight games, and ended an eight-game skid without an RBI.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 6/23, 9:15 PM CT
Adam Lind led the Jays offensively in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Reds at the Rogers Centre, as he went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Both of his knocks were singles.

Our View: Lind now leads the Jays with 50 RBI, passing Aaron Hill (48). He is also hitting .355 (27-for-76) so far in June, and should remain active in fantasy leagues while he is swinging a hot stick.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 6/18, 4:11 PM CT
Adam Lind went 3-for-4 with two RBI in Thursday's 8-7 win at Philadelphia. He hit a pair of singles and a solo homer off Joe Blanton.

Our View: Lind is enjoying a nice power surge as he crushed his sixth homer of June, and his 14th of the season. He hit two homers over the three-game series at launching pad Citizens Bank Park.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 6/16, 10:07 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and a single in Tuesday's 8-3 win at Philadelphia.

Our View: Lind hit his 13th homer of the season, and took advantage of launching pad Citizens Bank Park. He was in need of a solid outing as he was hitless over his previous three games.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 6/8, 10:23 PM CT
Adam Lind carried the Jays offensively in Monday's 6-3 win at Texas, as he went 2-for-4 with two homers and four RBI.

Our View: Lind already has three homers in June after only hitting four in the entire month of May. He raised his season average to .310 tonight as well.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 6/4, 2:53 PM CT
Adam Lind was hitting everything in sight on Thursday in the Blue Jays' 6-5 loss to the Angels. Lind went 5-for-5 with three doubles and two runs scored. He is now hitting .313 on the season.

Our View: This guy is a good hitter. Lind has been a surprise to many so far in 2009, and he showed why today as he knocked five hits, with three of them being for extra bases. Lind is still a strong play in all leagues, even though he has slowed down a bit as of late.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 5/30, 3:22 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Sox.

Our View: After going 11 straight games without a walk, Lind has drawn four in his last four games. He has just three strikeouts in those four games compared to 10 in his previous 11. Just another example of how good plate discipline goes a long way to providing good production.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 5/17, 3:06 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Sunday's 8-2 over Chicago at the Rogers Centre. He hit a single and a three-run homer.

Our View: Lind snapped a nine-game drought without a homer, and now has seven for the season. He now has 33 RBI as well, and is proving to be an early-season steal in fantasy leagues.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 5/9, 6:29 PM CT
Adam Lind just keeps on driving in runners. He added two more to his total with a 2-for-5 effort in Toronto's 6-4 win over the A's on Saturday.

Our View: Lind now has 31 RBI and is hitting .336 on the season. If he turns out to be the real deal (which looks promising right now) he's a great bargain for fantasy owners and a huge boost for an up and coming Blue Jays team
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 5/5, 3:01 PM CT
Adam Lind carried the Blue Jays offense again Tuesday, going 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI. He now has a .333-6-29 line on the year.

Our View: What a start for Lind. He won't continue at this pace, but the breakout is for real.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 5/1, 11:47 PM CT
Adam Lind stayed hot on Friday as he went 2-for-5 with a home run, a run scored, and two RBI as the Blue Jays beat the Orioles 8-4.

Our View: Lind has started this season on fire, and he kept it going tonight. Keep riding Lind as long as he keeps hitting like this, but watch for his numbers to begin to decrease. He will probably not keep this up all season.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 4/30, 4:58 PM CT
Adam Lind went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI, and a walk in Toronto's 8-6 loss in Kansas City on Thursday.

Our View: Lind continues to hit in the heart of a surprisingly productive Blue Jays order and has 22 RBI to show for it. It seems unlikely that Toronto's offense continues to click this well all season and when they slow down, Lind's production will do the same.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 4/11, 3:34 PM CT
Adam Lind's terrific start to the 2009 season continued Saturday, as he picked up a pair of hits and an RBI in the Jays' win over the Indians.

Our View: Adam's average actually dropped to .462 after this one. He has three homers and 12 RBI in the first six games.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 4/10, 11:29 PM CT
Adam Lind was mashing again on Friday night. He was 3-for-5 with four RBI and hit his third home run of the young season in the Blue Jays' 13-7 win over the Indians.

Our View: Lind is absolutely soaring right now. He has three home runs, 11 RBI and a .476 average in five games this season. This seems too good to be true, so beware of a Chris Shelton-like drop off after the first month.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 4/9, 2:37 PM CT
Adam Lind went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Tigers at the Rogers Centre. He hit a homer and two singles.

Our View: Lind is off to a strong start as he collected two homers and seven RBI over the first four games of the season. His production benefits with Alex Rios and Vernon Wells hitting ahead of him in the lineup.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 4/6, 9:25 PM CT
Adam Lind went 4-for-5 with six RBI and a home run in Toronto's 12-5 win over the Tigers on Monday. He started at DH and hit fifth for the Blue Jays.

Our View: This was quite a start for Lind who figures to be the Blue Jays primary DH this season. He will share some time with Jason Lane at the position, which figures to limit his value some. With Aaron Hill, Alex Rios, and Vernon Wells hitting in front of him, he will see ample RBI opportunities.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 4/4, 6:20 PM CT
Adam Lind did not start Saturday's 1-1 tie with the Marlins, but he still managed to go 2-for-2 while accounting for the team's lone RBI.

Our View: The fact that he didn't start the team's final game of the spring is a pretty good indication that he will not be an everyday starter this season. It appears the Blue Jays may roll out a regular outfield of Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, and Travis Snider, while allowing Lind, Kevin Millar and Jason Wells battle for the DH spot.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 3/22, 6:57 PM CT
Adam Lind was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the Blue Jays 11-6 loss to the Twins on Sunday.

Our View: Lind is still battling for a starting job amongst Travis Snider and Jason Lane. He has played well this spring as he is hitting .325 with eight RBI.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 3/14, 5:16 PM CT
Adam Lind was 1-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run scored as Toronto fell 10-4 to Detroit on Saturday.

Our View: The 25-year-old was once ticketed for stardom, but he has been surpassed by Travis Snider. He could be a very solid fourth outfielder, but the Blue Jays may elect to start him back at Triple-A this season for regular at-bats.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 8/28, 9:22 PM CT
Adam Lind had two hits on Thursday night leading to a run scored and an RBI for the Jays.

Our View: Since the start of July, a span of 49 games, Lind is hitting .326-7-33-34, tremendous production from a guy who looked lost at the major league level last season (.238 with a .678 OPS). He isn't flashy, but he is going to be targeted in drafts next season thanks to his late season work.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 8/12, 9:48 PM CT
The Blue Jays took a win against Detroit, 6-4, with outfielder Adam Lind doing his part to guarantee their fortunes. Lind went 3-for-5 at the dish with his sixth homer of the season, totaling two RBIs and two runs scored on the night.

Our View: Lind hit an impressive .379 last month but is at just .231 thus far in August. This is his first homer since July 22nd.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 8/3, 10:35 PM CT
Adam Lind had a hit and an RBI on Sunday and is now batting .333 over his last 16 games.

Our View: Lind has finally found his grove at the major league level after struggling for consistency at this level. Lind should continue to function as a solid fourth outfielder in mixed leagues.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysTuesday 7/22, 9:53 PM CT
The Blue Jays found just enough offense to earn the 10-8 win over Baltimore this evening, an effort led by outfielder Adam Lind . Lind went 4-for-5 at the dish, hitting his sixth double and fifth home run of the season to post three RBIs and two runs scored.

Our View: Lind is shining, hitting .340 through July with three homers and 17 RBIs thus far. This is his first multi-hit game since July 11th, but he has failed to earn at least one hit just twice this month.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 7/12, 3:47 PM CT
Adam Lind went 1-for-4 with a three-run triple in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Yankees.

Our View: That was his first triple of the season, and he extended his hitting streak to five games, with five extra base hits over the span (four doubles). He also has 11 RBI over 10 outings in July. Keep him active in AL-only leagues while he is hot.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 7/10, 9:26 PM CT
Adam Lind went 3-for-4 on Thursday night as he knocked in the winning run in the ninth inning off of Orioles closer George Sherrill.

Our View: Lind has hits in six of the last eight games with seven RBI in his last nine games. With Vernon Wells going down with that hamstring injury, Lind would seem a lock to remain in the lineup on a daily basis.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 7/3, 1:44 PM CT
Adam Lind will stay the Blue Jays' regular left fielder, according to MLB.com. "He's pretty much going to be playing. I haven't really come out and said that to him, but I think I'm trying to show it to him," said Toronto manager Cito Gaston.

Our View: The 24-year-old Lind has not had a great season, hitting just .217 with a .260 on-base percentage, but he does provide some power, with three home runs among his ten hits. Fantasy owners will probably want to stay away from him unless he can start to provide a little more at the plate.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 7/3, 12:09 AM CT
Adam Lind went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, and was the Jays' lone source of scoring in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Mariners.

Our View: Lind now has three homers and 10 RBI over 14 games played this season. Six of his RBI have come over his last three games.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 6/25, 9:59 PM CT
Adam Lind went deep for the second time of the year on Wednesday night, a two run shot off of Aaron Harang.

Our View: In three starts since being recalled Lind has two home runs, four RBI and five hits. He is proving why he should be counted on as a possible big time asset down the stretch in AL Only leagues.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 6/22, 4:31 PM CT
Adam Lind, taking advantage of a new lease on life as the Jays starting left fielder, went 2-for-3 with a home run on Sunday for the Jays.

Our View: Lind was just 1-for-19 earlier in the year prior to being sent back to the minors. The team finally appears committed to allowing him the chance to grow on the job. His bat should produce enough to make him an attractive AL Only option.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSunday 6/22, 2:43 PM CT
The Blue Jays called up outfielder Adam Lind on Friday night and is now viewed by new manager Cito Gaston as the regular starter in left field, according to MLB.com.

Our View: It was an unanticipated promotion for the 24-year-old Lind, who wasn't sure when he'd be back with the Jays. In a stint with Toronto earlier this year, Lind struggled offensively and was promptly sent back to the Minor Leagues before he could break free of his slump. Then, two days after Lind was optioned back to Triple-A Syracuse, the Blue Jays acquired veteran outfielders Brad Wilkerson and Kevin Mench on May 9. The addition of that pair, along with the presence of left fielder Shannon Stewart, had Lind doubting he'd get another call soon. Now Mench has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse, Stewart is on the DL, and Wilkerson has fallen out of favor. That gives Lind an opportunity to show and prove.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 6/21, 6:16 PM CT
The Blue Jays recalled Adam Lind from Triple-A Syracuse Saturday to replace the injured Shaun Marcum on the roster. Lind has just one hit in 19 at-bats with Toronto this year, but he's fared much better at Triple-A with a .328-6-50 line.

Our View: Look for Lind to get some starts in left field for Toronto. He's a nice talent, but given what he's done (or not done) in his previous big-league stints, you should take a wait-and-see approach with him.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 5/7, 5:00 PM CT
Adam Lind was demoted so that the Jays could call up Jorge Velandia to help give the team some depth at shortstop after injuries to David Eckstein and John McDonald, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View: Lind is one heck of a hitter, but he has yet to find his legs at the major league level. Look for him to be recalled at some point in the near future as he has little to prove in the minors. Shannon Stewart will be the benefactor of this move in the Jays outfield.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 4/26, 5:18 PM CT
The Associated Press reports that the Blue Jays have recalled Adam Lind from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Our View: Lind was hitting .356 with three home runs and 15 RBI in Syracuse. To make roster space for Lind, the Blue Jays optioned infielder Joe Inglett.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 4/21, 7:38 AM CT
Adam Lind appears to be the "obvious" replacement for released slugger Frank Thomas, but he is currently dealing with a sore neck, the Toronto Star reports. Lind is hitting .360 with a 1.051 OPS for Triple-A Syracuse. He hasn't played since Wednesday.

Our View: Lind struggled as the Blue Jays starter last year, but he has raked throughout his minor league career. We don't believe he'll walk into an every-day gig, but AL-only owners should be interested in his bat.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 4/11, 4:13 PM CT
Adam Lind went 4-for-4 with his second home run of the season at Triple-A on Thursday. He is now hitting .448 as he tries to get his first call-up of the year.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 4/4, 12:06 PM CT
Adam Lind hit his first home run of the season at Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday. He seemed to fall out of favor as the organization’s left fielder of the future last season, but his bat could still get him to the majors as a regular.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 3/13, 11:29 PM CT
Adam Lind has been sent down to Triple-A Syracuse, according to MLB.com. He finished fourth among AL rookies with 11 home runs in 2007 but there is no spot for him in the Jays' outfield as of now.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 3/7, 6:59 PM CT
Adam Lind went 3-for-4 on Friday. He will need to continue to perform well as he fights for playing time in a solid Blue Jays outfield.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysFriday 7/6, 9:26 PM CT
The Blue Jays optioned Adam Lind to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, according to the AP. He batted .230 with eight home runs and 30 RBI in 73 games filling in for the injured Reed Johnson. "He did a nice job for us," manager John Gibbons said. "Right now he needs to go down and play some more."
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysMonday 5/7, 9:10 AM CT
Adam Lind sprained his right ringer finger sliding into second base on Sunday, though he was able to complete the game, according to the Toronto Star. X-rays were negative, and he's not expected to miss any action due to the injury. "I played through it in the game, so I should be okay," Lind said.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysSaturday 4/14, 11:21 PM CT
Adam Lind, recalled on Friday to replace the injured Reed Johnson on the roster, doubled, singled twice and scored a run in his first game of the year Saturday. Lind, the team's top prospect who hit .367 in 60 at-bats for the Jays last year, batted second in the lineup.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysThursday 3/15, 9:56 AM CT
Adam Lind was back in the lineup on Wednesday after missing a week with a strained right ring finger, according to the Blue Jays website. He started in left field and went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and a walk.
Adam Lind, DH, Toronto Blue JaysWednesday 3/14, 12:46 PM CT
Adam Lind took part in pre-game batting practice Tuesday for the first time since he injured a knuckle on his right hand a week ago, the Toronto Sun reports. He's hoping to play Wednesday.
