Our View: Pedroia certainly has the ability to man the No. 5 spot, and either J.D. Drew or Marco Scutaro would seem to be a decent candidate for the No. 2 spot. For now, however, we'd expect things to remain as they have been. Even if Pedroia does happen to move to No. 5, his fantasy value would remain unchanged, as an increase in RBI opportunities would be negated by a few less chances to score runs.

Orlando Hudson and Marco Scutaro are possibilities. In 184 career minor league games at shortstop, Pedroia made just seven errors.
