Greg Aquino, P, Cleveland IndiansTuesday 6/23, 6:27 PM CT
Greg Aquino has cleared waivers with the Indians, and was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus, according to MLBblogs.com.

Our View: Aquino has a poor 4.50 ERA and 1.75 WHIP over 16 innings of relief with the Indians this season, and should continue to be ignored in fantasy leagues while in the minors.

Greg Aquino has been designated for assignment by the Cleveland Indians, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Aquino was 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA in ten games for the Indians this season.

Our View: Aquino has always been a very mediocre major league relief pitcher, and the Indians have decided they don't need him in their bullpen anymore. Aquino holds no fantasy value regardless of what happens after this point, so no need to monitor his situation.

Greg Aquino has been recalled by the Indians from Triple-A Columbus, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Greg Aquino has signed a minor league deal with the Indians, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com.

Our View: Aquino had success in Triple-A last season, but struggled with the Orioles as he held a dreadful 2.79 WHIP over 9.1 innings of work. The 31-year-old reliever will not hold any fantasy value if he manages to make the Indians out of spring training.

Our View: The Indians need depth for their bullpen, but Aquino looks to be a potential liability as he held a dismal 2.79 WHIP over 9.1 innings of relief with Baltimore in 2008.

Greg Aquino was placed on the DL Saturday with a left hamstring strain. The move was retroactive to July 13.

Our View: Considering Aquino held a 12.54 ERA in nine games, the O's likely aren't upset about making this move. Randor Bierd replaces him on the roster.

The Orioles purchased the contract of Greg Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, the Baltimore Sun reports.

The Orioles claimed Greg Aquino off waivers from the Brewers on Friday. Aquino posted a 4.50 ERA in 15 relief appearances last year, but he spent the majority of his time in Triple-A. Despite the fact that Baltimore doesn't have an established closer, don't expect Aquino to be considered for the role.
