Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsFriday 9/4, 9:00 PM CT
Cory Sullivan went 2-for-2 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI in the Mets' 6-2 victory over the Cubs on Friday. Sullivan is hitting .283 with the team this season.

Our View: Sullivan looks to be poised to receive regular playing time down the stretch, and if he keeps having nights like tonight it will force the team to keep him in the lineup. He has performed well since being called up, but he is probably not worth a fantasy look for this season.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsThursday 8/20, 9:14 PM CT
Cory Sullivan went 1-for-2 and drove in one of only two Mets runs on Thursday, as the Amazins lost 3-2 to the Braves at home.

Our View: Sullivan has batted .281 and driven in seven since getting called up on July 22. If the current Gary Sheffield disaster ends in the mercurial outfielder's release, look for Sullivan to get a lot of playing time down the stretch.

Cory Sullivan has been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to take the roster spot of the injured Fernando Nieve, according to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.

Our View: Sullivan is a career .279 hitter in 927 at-bats, though over half of those came in the very hitter friendly Coors Field. He should see some playing time the next few days while Gary Sheffield recovers from "cramps" in his left leg.

The Mets have signed outfielder Cory Sullivan to a one-year deal worth $600,000, according to the Denver Post.

Our View: He is considered one of the Rockies' all-time best defensive center fielders, but was a career .279 hitter over four seasons. He only has eight career homers as well, despite playing his home games at launching pad Coors Field.

The Mets are believed to have interest in center fielder Cory Sullivan, according to the Denver Post.

Our View: Sullivan has hit .279 over four seasons and is known as a good defensive outfielder, but he has been hampered by injuries over the last two seasons. He appeared in just 18 games last season.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsMonday 12/8, 7:18 PM CT
Cory Sullivan is on the radar of both the Padres and Rangers, the Denver Post reports.

Our View: Sullivan is a good defensive player, though he possesses little power and strikes out far too much.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsWednesday 11/19, 10:02 AM CT
There are reportedly around a dozen MLB clubs interested in Rockies' outfielder Cory Sullivan, according to the Denver Post.

Our View: Three teams have expressed serious interest, but the source did not disclose exactly what teams they are. Sullivan needs work on his hitting, but is solid defensively.

Cory Sullivan has been optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs, according to the AP. Catcher Adam Melhuse was recalled from Colorado Springs as the corresponding move.

Our View: Sullivan only went 5-for-23 (.217) with no homers as a backup outfielder with the Rockies this season. He held no fantasy value prior to his demotion.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsTuesday 7/29, 11:40 AM CT
The Rockies recalled Cory Sullivan from Triple-A Colorado Springs Tuesday to replace the injured Scott Podsednik on the roster.

Our View: Sullivan will back up at all three outfield spots but figures to see little playing time.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsFriday 6/13, 5:57 PM CT
Cory Sullivan was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday. The outfielder has been with the big club since May 25.

Our View: The Roks have Holliday and others back since Sullivan was recalled. He will work with his teammates at Colorado's top affiliate until his services are needed again.
Cory Sullivan, CF, New York MetsSunday 5/25, 1:03 PM CT
Outfielder Cory Sullivan has been recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs, according to the AP. The team brought him in to cover the roster spot left open by Matt Holliday, who went on the DL with a strained hamstring.

Our View: Sullivan won't replace the elite Holliday's production, but he could be a solid sub nonetheless, as he hit .286 with two homers and 14 RBI over 140 at-bats in 2007.

The Rockies sent Cory Sullivan to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday, according to the Rocky Mountain News. He lost out to Scott Podsednik in their battle but will still make $1 million this season, even though he'll kick things off in the minors.
