Just recalled on Sunday, Ron Flores was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday after a brief fourth stint in Oakland this season, according to the AP. Flores has posted a 3.09 ERA in 23 1/3 IP for the A's.

When Joe Kennedy is activated from the disabled list, Ron Flores is the likely candidate to be optioned to Triple-A Sacramento, according to the Athletics website. Flores is 1-1 with a 3.09 ERA in 23 1/3 IP with Oakland this season.

The A's recalled Ron Flores from Triple-A on Thursday to replace the injured Scott Sauerbeck, according to the AP. In 15 appearances with Oakland earlier in the year, Flores posted a 3.54 ERA in 20 innings of work. The A's will use him in middle relief.
