Our View: Sisco is recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he has never been a very effective major league pitcher. Expect him to start the season in the minors.

Andrew Sisco underwent Tommy John elbow reconstruction surgery on Monday, according to the team website. Sisco had surgery in New York and will be out of action 12-to-24 months. Sisco, 25, came to the White Sox via a trade with Kansas City for Ross Gload on Dec. 16, 2006, and the southpaw was counted as an integral part of the White Sox bullpen. Gload currently starts at first base for the upstart Royals.
