Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersSaturday 10/17, 9:34 AM CT
The Dodgers have declined a 2010 team option on left handed reliever Will Ohman, according to MLB.com.

Our View: Ohman was a big disappointment for the Dodgers in 2009, pitching in just 21 games due to injury, posting a 5.84 ERA in the process. As a left handed pitcher, however, you can be sure he will latch on somewhere else in 2010.

MLB.com is reporting that Dodgers' reliever Will Ohman is throwing bullpen sessions in Arizona and will work out with the team on Friday. Ohman is suffering from left elbow tendiditis.

Our View: Ohman is not expected to return to the team until September, so it doesn't look like he is making much progress. If he does return for the last month, he could provide some depth for the Dodger bullpen.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersSaturday 6/27, 10:38 AM CT

Will Ohman pitched a scoreless inning for Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, and could rejoin the Dodgers next week if he gets through scheduled outings on Saturday and Sunday fine, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Our View: Ohman has been on the disabled list since May 28 with a sore left shoulder. He is one of the only Dodgers to not be sterling in 2009, posting a 5.84 in 21 appearances while striking out only seven.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersFriday 5/29, 8:20 AM CT
MLB.com is reporting that the Dodgers have placed Will Ohman on the 15-day DL with a sore left shoulder. He will be replaced on the roster by catcher A.J. Ellis.

Our View: Ohman hasn't been very good for the Dodgers this season, so this move should not affect fantasy owners. He is only expected to miss the 15 days, so expect him back when his time is up on the DL.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersTuesday 4/7, 7:57 AM CT
The Dodgers have purchased Will Ohman's contract from Triple-A Las Vegas, according to TSN. He will earn $1.35MM this season.

There is a rumor swirling that Will Ohman is on the Giants' radar, according to the SF Chronicle. Jack Taschner has struggled with his control in spring action, with 12 walks over nine appearances, and the Giants may need to replace him in the bullpen.

Our View: Ohman would be a solid addition to a bullpen as he held a 1.24 WHIP over 58.2 innings in 2008, but his fantasy value would be limited as a lefty specialist. The Padres are also interested in Ohman.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersFriday 3/13, 12:21 PM CT
According to the North County Times, the Padres are interested in lefty Will Ohman. They are looking to use him as more than a lefty specialist, but most likely won't make a move until his price tag drops.

Our View: Ohman has experience, something the Padres desperately need in their bullpen, so he could be a good fit. However, his potential spot on their roster is a moot fantasy point.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersTuesday 3/10, 9:35 AM CT

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersWednesday 3/4, 8:04 AM CT

Will Ohman is on the Marlins' radar, according to MLB.com.

Our View: The Marlins would like to add the lefty to their pen for a bargain. Ohman covets $1.5MM, but the Marlins believe they can reel him in for less. Inking Ohman would likely take them out of the mix for Ivan Rodriguez.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersTuesday 2/17, 12:03 PM CT
The Marlins have an offer on the table for Will Ohman, but the lefty wants to play for a better team, according to ESPN.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersMonday 2/16, 4:22 PM CT
ESPN.com reports that the Marlins, Pirates, and Padres all have offers on the table for left-hander Will Ohman, but the pitcher continues to talk with the Mets, Dodgers, and Phillies.

Our View: There's no word on how much the offers are for, but we wouldn't expect much from teams that will not likely challenge in their own divisions. Last season, he was one of the more effective left-handed specialists in the game. Ohman wants to play for a contender, but clearly his asking price should be sliding.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersMonday 2/16, 7:06 AM CT
The Cardinals are not among the teams talking to Will Ohman, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View: The Cardinals could use another lefty for their pen, but Ohman is apparently not in their plans. The Mets, Phillies and Dodgers have also denied having serious interest for him.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersThursday 2/12, 2:21 PM CT
Mack'sMets.com is disputing the news circulating that the Mets made Will Ohman an offer.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersTuesday 2/10, 11:06 AM CT
Will Ohman is open to signing a one-year deal with a World Series contender, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersThursday 2/5, 11:03 AM CT
The Mets are interested in Will Ohman with the intention of inking the reliever at a bargain price, according to ESPN.

Our View: ESPN also disputes Ken Rosenthal's (FOX Sports) report that the Phillies are no longer interested in Ohman. Ohman would likely to be used as a lefty setup man for the Mets.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersWednesday 2/4, 9:16 AM CT
The Phillies are no longer interested in reliever Will Ohman, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Our View: The Phillies were considering the lefty as a bullpen replacement for J.C. Romero while he serves his 50-game suspension for a positive drug test. The team is still focusing on adding another bat, with Rich Aurilia among the names on their list.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersSaturday 1/31, 12:18 PM CT
Left-handed reliever Will Ohman is being pursued by the Philadelphia Phillies, according to ESPN.com.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersSunday 1/25, 7:00 AM CT
Will Ohman is on the Padres' radar, according to ESPN. The Nationals are interested as well.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersFriday 1/23, 3:20 PM CT
Will Ohman is reportedly still on the Diamondbacks' radar, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersFriday 1/16, 5:49 PM CT
Will Ohman is continuing to draw interest from the Orioles, according to the Baltimore Sun. He's also being looked at by the Braves, Indians, Rangers, and Diamondbacks. He's received two offers, but is yet to receive one from Baltimore.

Our View: Ohman would provide a solid option for these clubs from the left side, but is unlikely to have much fantasy value as a middle reliever.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersWednesday 12/24, 9:08 AM CT
Will Ohman reportedly wants a two-year contract, according to the St. Petersburg Times. He's drawing plenty of interest as the Cardinals, Rays, Indians, Rockies, Mets, Orioles, and Braves are all looking at him.

Our View: Ohman doesn't have a lot of fantasy value, recording just four wins and one save in 2008. However, he is regarded as one of the league's best left-handed specialists, hence his appeal to the seven clubs listed above.
Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersSaturday 12/20, 1:43 PM CT
The Indians are interested in reliever Will Ohman, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Will Ohman, P, Los Angeles DodgersMonday 11/24, 10:04 AM CT
Will Ohman is reportedly on the Rockies' radar, according to the Denver Post.

Our View: The Rockies covet a lefty-reliever, and have spoken to Ohman's agent, but are yet to make him an offer. There are close to a dozen clubs interested in the hot free agent reliever.

It was not in any way intentional to hurt anyone or mar the organization, or upset fans or teammates."
