Our View: Ransom hit .190 with the Yanks this season, and if you can't hit in new Yankee Stadium, you can't hit anywhere. Don't expect to see him making a contribution in the majors any time soon.

Ransom is 1-for-20 at the plate and committed an error in the field, but manager Joe Girardi still has faith in him as he said, "He hit a ball hard on Saturday just foul. I mean he has not really had any luck. I am happy with the way he is playing and his effort. It will turn. You know it is going to turn. It is just not fun to start out this way."
