Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersThursday 7/2, 3:50 PM CT
According to the Seattle Times, Ryan Langerhans will get his first start as a Mariner in Thursday's contest against the Yankees.

Our View: Langerhans is starting in left field, but has the arduous task of going against Yankee ace, CC Sabathia. He figures to get the majority of the starts in left with a righty on the mound, but the reason he's going against the lefty (Sabathia) tonight is, the team wanted to get him into big league action as soon as possible. Langerhans may be worth a look in deep AL-only leagues, but nothing more.

Ryan Langerhans has been recalled by the Mariners from Triple-A Tacoma, according to the Associated Press. Adrian Beltre was placed on the 15-day DL as the adjoining move.

Our View: Langerhans is solid with his glove, but is a career .233 hitter, and is not likely going to generate much power at pitcher-friendly Safeco Field. He is only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

According to MASN Sports, the Nationals have traded outfielder Ryan Langerhans to the Mariners for infielder Mike Morse.

Our View: Langerhans has not played in the majors this season, but the Mariners need help with Endy Chavez out for the season. He is excellent defensively and will likely split time in the outfield with Wladimir Balentien. In Triple-A this season Langerhans' line was .278/.371/.488.

MLB.com reports that outfielder Ryan Langerhans has signed a minor-league deal with the Washington Nationals.

Our View: Langerhans played 73 games for the team in 2008, hitting .234. He does not possess fantasy value of any kind.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersWednesday 10/15, 5:12 PM CT
Ryan Langerhans was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday after passing through waivers unclaimed, according to the Associated Press. Levale Speigner also received the same treatment.

Our View: Langerhans hit just .234/380/.396 in 111 AB in 2008 and clearly had no future with the Nationals, and considering he owns a .233 average and .713 OPS in 978 career AB he also has zero fantasy value.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersWednesday 8/13, 9:53 PM CT
Ryan Langerhans left tonight's game against the Mets early because of lower back stiffness, according to MLB.com.

Our View: Langerhans has little fantasy value, as he is hitting just .261 on the year with one home run and six RBI.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersFriday 7/11, 2:30 PM CT
Outfielder Ryan Langerhans has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus, according to the AP. The team sent down outfielder Roger Bernadina to Columbus, as a corresponding move.

Our View: Langerhans hit .200 with nine strikeouts over 30 at-bats with Washington during his previous stint this season, and does not merit fantasy consideration.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersMonday 6/23, 11:11 AM CT
Ryan Langerhans, who was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus to clear a roster spot for hurler Garrett Mock, has accepted the assignment and will report to the Clippers, according to the Washington Times.

Our View: Langerhans hit .200 with nine strikeouts over 30 at-bats with Washington this season, and holds no fantasy value.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersSaturday 6/21, 8:21 AM CT
Ryan Langerhans has been outrighted to Triple-A Columbus, according to the AP. The team recalled Garrett Mock to make a spot start on Saturday, and Langerhans was viewed as expendable to make room on the roster.

Our View: Langerhans hit .200 over 30 at-bats with Washington this season, and held no fantasy value.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersTuesday 6/3, 11:27 PM CT
The Washington Nationals found tough times against the St. Louis Cardinals this evening, falling 6-1 with a total of six hits for the entire team. Outfielder Ryan Langerhans is the player of note, going 1-for-3 with the Nationals' lone RBI of the night.

Our View: Langerhans has struggled since coming to the majors, hitting just .167 through eight games in May, picking up his second RBI of the season this evening.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersFriday 5/23, 3:35 PM CT
Ryan Langerhans is back in the bigs. The Nationals promoted the outfielder on Friday, the Washington Post reports. Langerhans, 28, was hitting .308-3-24 over 44 games at Triple-A Columbus.

Our View: Langerhans could end up platooning withe Elijah Dukes until Austin Kearns is healthy. There's very, very little fantasy value here.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersWednesday 5/2, 10:38 PM CT
Ryan Langerhans was traded Wednesday night for the second time in a week, going to the Nationals for outfielder Chris Snelling, the AP reports. Langerhans, obtained Sunday from Atlanta, went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and a walk against Boston in two games for Oakland. He started both games in center field and misplayed a liner for an error that led to a run in the Red Sox 6-4 win Wednesday.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersSunday 4/29, 7:31 PM CT
Ryan Langerhans was traded to the Athletics Sunday for a player to be named or cash considerations, the AP reports. Langerhans could probably use a change of scenery; he was just 3-for-44 with the Braves this year. He'll join the A's in Boston on Tuesday and is slated to start in center field for the opener of the two-game series.
Ryan Langerhans, LF, Seattle MarinersSunday 4/22, 6:23 AM CT
Ryan Langerhans is hitting just .065 over 31 at-bats this season, but for now his glove will keep him in a platoon with Matt Diaz for the time being, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "He's so good defensively, it's hard to take him out," said manager Bobby Cox.
