The Yankees signed Erubiel Durazo to a minor league contract Tuesday and assigned him to Triple-A. He's pretty much an insurance policy at this point, but we'll see who's on the roster and who isn't come August.

The A's signed Erubiel Durazo to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, according to ESPN. Durazo bounced around the minors with three organizations last year. He should compete with Dan Johnson for the first base job, as Nick Swisher is expected to spend most of his time in the outfield this year.

The Twins released Erubiel Durazo Monday, according to the Star-Tribune. He hit .264 with one home run and three RBI in 17 games at Triple-A Rochester.

The Twins signed Erubiel Durazo and optioned him to Triple-A Rochester on Thursday, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. The Twins are Durazo's third organization this season, having spent time with the Triple-A affiliates of the Rangers and Yankees.
