Our View: Colome posted a 7.59 ERA in 21.1 innings for the Brewers last season. His chances of being an asset in Seattle are slim.

According to MLBlogs.com, the Brewers have released reliever Jesus Colome. Colome had been on the DL until the team activated him on Friday, but he did not made an appearance over the weekend.

Our View: Interesting move here, as Colome would have become a free agent after the season. It looks like the Brewers wanted to clear a spot on th 40-man roster for an addition call-up, so expect another move.

Jesus Colome has been activated from the 15-day DL following his recovery from a strained right forearm, according to TSN.

Our View: Colome has a 7.59 ERA and 1.88 WHIP over 21.1 innings of relief this season, and holds little fantasy value.

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Brewers have placed reliever Jesus Colome on the 15-day disabled list with a right forearm strain.

Our View: In five appearances this season Colome had a 5.98 ERA and a .393 opponents batting average. The team recalled Chris Narveson from Triple-A Nashville to fill the roster spot.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting that the Brewers have recalled pitcher Jesus Colome from Triple-A Nashville. In a corresponding move, the team optioned pitcher R.J. Swindle to Triple-A.

Our View: Colome was awful with the Nats earlier this season, but he has been pretty good in the minors with the Brewers as of late. Colome has a 0.00 ERA with 11 strikeouts in seven innings in Nashville, so hopefully he can translate that success to the majors.

MLBlogs.com is reporting that the Milwaukee Brewers have signed relief pitcher Jesus Colome to a Triple-A contract on Sunday. Colome spent the beginning of the year in Washington before being designated for assignment earlier this month.

Our View: Brewers' fans shouldn't look for Colome to ride in and save the Brewers, as he was sporting a lofty 8.40 ERA in 16 appearances before getting designated. Some new scenery could be good for Colome, but he still figures to spend most of this season in Triple-A.

MASNsports.com is reporting that Nationals' reliever Jesus Colome has refused his assignment and is now a free agent. Colome was DFA'd by the team on Sunday.

Our View: Colome complied an 8.40 ERA in 16 appearances with the Nats this season, allowing 14 earned runs in 15 innings pitched. He will probably catch on with someone, but he won't have any fantasy impact regardless of where he ends up.

Jesus Colome has been designated for assignment by the Nationals, according to TSN. Hurler Jason Bergmann was recalled from Triple-A as the adjoining move.

Our View: Colome failed to save job in the Nationals' bullpen with a terrible 8.40 ERA over 15 innings. The 31-year-old reliever won't be missed in fantasy leagues.

As expected, Jesus Colome has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse by the Nationals, according to the Washington Post.

Our View: Colome nailed down three saves with Syracuse and held opponents to a .244 batting average, but his fantasy value will be limited to deeper leagues that feature middle men.

Jesus Colome is expected to be recalled by the Nationals after they sent Rule 5 pick Terrell Young back to the Reds, according to the Washington Times.

Our View: Colome holds a 4.07 ERA in 122 appearances with the Nationals over the last two years, and he would only hold fantasy value in deeper leagues that feature middle men.

According to MLB.com, Jesus Colome is the leading candidate to be the National's setup man in front of Joel Hanrahan. Manager Manny Acta is pleased with Colome so far, citing the fact that he hasn't walked a man this spring.

Our View: Colome could have some valuable in leagues that record holds, but his only true value would be if he stepped in as the closer after a Joel Hanrahan injury.

According to MLB.com, the Florida Marlins reportedly have expressed interest in Nats right-handed reliever Jesus Colome, who posted a 4.31 ERA in 71 innings pitched in 2008. The Marlins recently announced the signing of veteran relief pitcher Scott Proctor, who agreed to a deal worth $750,000 in base pay on Friday.

Our View: In an attempt to bolster a pitching staff that ranked near the bottom half of the league in ERA (4.43) a season ago, the Marlins seem to be content making changes more so by subtraction than addition. To make way for new closer Matt Lindstrom, the Marlins parted ways with Kevin Gregg, in addition to letting go Arthur Rhodes and Joe Nelson.

Jesus Colome has been released by the Nationals, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Colome is 18-25 with six saves and a 4.50 ERA over eight seasons in the majors spent with the Rays and Nationals.

Jesus Colome, the Nationals best arm in the bullpen after the trades of Joe Rauch and Luis Ayala would like to remain with the Nationals as he is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, according to the Nationals Official Website.

Our View: Colome has posted a 2.38 ERA over his last 29 appearances, and given the fact that the club is thin in the bullpen with the aforementioned trades and the injury to Chad Cordero, it would certainly makes sense for the club to pursue Colome this off-season.

The Nationals avoided arbitration with Jesus Colome by signing him to a one-year, $1.25 million deal. He can make an additional $25,000 in performance bonuses. Colome had a solid year for the Nats in '07, holding a 3.82 ERA in 61 games
