Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesTuesday 8/25, 8:01 PM CT
Adam Eaton was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Tuesday, according to the Denver Post. Eaton earned the win is Monday night's big win over the Giants.

Our View: Eaton could rejoin the team when rosters expand in September, assuming he clears waivers. He wasn't great last night even though he got the win, and his 8.08 ERA this season should tell you all you need to know about his play this season.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 8/12, 6:53 PM CT
Adam Eaton has been called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Our View: Eaton, 8.56 ERA in 41 innings this season, is fantasy poison, pure and simple.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 6/6, 6:46 PM CT
According to the Denver Post, the Rockies have signed Adam Eaton to a minor league deal. Eaton was released by the Orioles earlier this season after he compiled an 8.56 ERA in eight starts.

Our View: Eaton will report to Triple-A Colorado Springs, and he figures to stay there for most of the season. Barring a huge turn around in the minors, don't expect Eaton to have any fantasy value this season.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 5/22, 3:32 PM CT
ESPN is reporting that the Orioles have released Adam Eaton. Eaton was 2-5 this season with a 8.56 ERA in eight starts.

Our View: Eaton was awful for the Orioles this season, and this move has been coming for awhile. He held no fantasy value, and it is a long shot that his replacement will either.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 5/21, 10:00 PM CT
Adam Eaton was rocked by the Yankees on Thursday. He allowed seven run on eight hits (including two homers) and three walks over just 4.2 innings. He took the loss as the Orioles fell to the Yankees 7-4.

Our View: Eaton has been terrible this season. He has had exactly one quality start in 2009 and is just wasting space in the few fantasy rosters he's actually on.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 5/16, 12:39 AM CT
Adam Eaton was not very good on Friday as the Orioles fell to the Royals 8-1. Eaton went five innings and allowed seven runs on ten hits while walking one and striking out three.

Our View: Eaton didn't really stand a chance going up against the awesome Zack Greinke, but he was bad tonight. Eaton has pretty much been bad all season, so this shouldn't be a shocker. He has no fantasy value at this point.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 5/4, 10:50 PM CT
Adam Eaton was just average on Monday, allowing four runs on five hits in five innings pitched. He walked two and struck out two. He did not factor into the decision.

Our View: Eaton was not very good again tonight, and has really only had one good start this season. His ERA is at 7.18, and although he has been striking hitters out he didn't do it tonight. His fantasy value is practically nonexistent, as he hasn't been good other than that one start.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 4/23, 10:20 PM CT
Who knew Adam Eaton something left in the tank? He was brilliant on Thursday, allowing just two runs on six hits in 7.1 innings while striking out nine. He got the win as the Orioles beat up on the White Sox 6-2.

Our View: Eaton struggled mightily in his first two outings of the season, but seemed to put it all together on Thursday. He managed to lower his ERA from 11.25 to 7.04 and his K-rate has been phenomenal. He has struck out 19 in 15.1 innings.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 4/12, 7:57 AM CT
Adam Eaton will make his first start of the season today against the Rays (2-3) at Camden Yards, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: The 31-year-old vet will be working as the Orioles' fifth starter. Eaton will be looking to bounce back after holding a poor 5.80 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 107 innings with the Phillies in 2008. He is only worth a look for deeper AL-only leagues.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 4/4, 7:53 AM CT
Adam Eaton will be the Orioles' fifth starter heading into the season, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Eaton had signed a minor-league deal with the squad earlier this spring after he was cut from the Phillies. He made 19 starts a season ago with a 5.80 ERA and 1.64 WHIP. Baltimore's staff should be admired for his extreme futility but it should be avoided by fantasy owners.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 4/2, 6:07 PM CT
Adam Eaton worked five innings against the Mets on Thursday. He allowed five runs on nine hits.

Our View: Eaton threw 94 pitches on Thursday and said he is confident his arm strength is where it needs to be heading into the season. Though a decision has not been made, he is expected to crack the Baltimore rotation.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 3/28, 2:02 PM CT
Adam Eaton was ineffective in a start against St. Louis on Saturday, giving up five runs off nine hits and four walks while striking out three in five innings of work.

Our View: Eaton wasn't too good in his first two starts this spring and has been awful in his last two after giving up four runs off eight hits (three home runs) and one walk against Minnesota on March 23. He may still somehow open the year in Baltimore's rotation, by no means a tribute to his talent but instead completely due to the team's awful list of candidates, and he should not be thought about as any sort of viable option in fantasy leagues.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 3/18, 2:47 PM CT
Adam Eaton allowed one earned run on three hits over four innings in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Cardinals, with one walk and two strikeouts.

Our View: Eaton went 4-8 last season with a 5.80 ERA despite playing for the champion Phillies, and his outlook for 2009 does not look bright while playing for a weaker club.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 3/13, 3:42 PM CT
Adam Eaton struggled in his start on Friday, allowing two runs on four hits over just three innings. His preseason ERA stands at and even 6.00.

Our View: That opening in the rotation is drifting farther and farther from Adam Eaton. He seems pegged for a long relief role in the bullpen. Assuming he makes the team of course.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 3/1, 3:41 PM CT
The Baltimore Orioles have signed starting pitcher Adam Eaton to a minor-league contract that includes an invitation to spring training, according to the Sports Ticker.

Our View: You would have to think Eaton, despite posting a disappointing 14-18 record and 6.10 ERA in two seasons with the Phillies, will get the chance to land a long-relief role in the O's bullpen, if not a spot in the starting rotation.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 2/27, 8:30 AM CT
Adam Eaton has been released by the Phillies, according to MLB.com.

Our View: He was not a serious contender to win a rotation spot this season. His salary for 2009 was $8.5MM.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 2/13, 4:15 PM CT
The News Journal reports that right-hander Adam Eaton is not in the running for the No. 5 spot in the Phillies' rotation. The team is upset that Eaton decided against pitching in the Florida Instructional League last October and may give Eaton his release, even if it means paying the $9 million remaining on his contract.

Our View: Eaton, who posted an ERA near six in 19 starts last season, said he would not consider a minor-league assignment. He remains confident another team will give a shot to earn a rotation spot in the spring should he be released by Philadelphia.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 1/24, 6:40 PM CT
Adam Eaton will not be in the Phillies rotation for 2009, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. "Based on what we've seen, it is a four man competition," Phillies GM Ruben Amaro said, "and he is not involved in that competition."

Our View: Eaton will likely be a long reliever for the Phillies this season and could perhaps appear as a starter in an emergency situation. Righthanders Kyle Kendrick, Carlos Carrasco and Chan Ho Park, and lefthander J.A. Happ will be the four pitchers competing for the last spot in the rotation.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 12/10, 6:22 PM CT
Fox Sports is reporting that the Phillies would like to deal starter Adam Eaton. The Phillies will deal Eaton to any team that will take on $1 million of the $9 million he is due for the final guaranteed season of a three-year contract. The Phillies want nothing in return.

Our View: Eaton was 4-8 with a 5.80 ERA this season and spent part of the year in the minors. The Phillies did not include him on the postseason roster.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 9/1, 5:25 PM CT
Adam Eaton, J.A. Happ, Greg Golson and Lou Marson were recalled from the minors on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: In fairness, none of these moves means anything from a fantasy perspective, but we want to be thorough so here you go. Don't look for Eaton, the biggest name here, to pitch any important innings, at least in the short term.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 8/27, 8:35 AM CT
Phillies pitcher Adam Eaton has not been good since being demoted to the minor leagues, with a combined 0-4 record and 7.41 ERA in Single-A and Double-A appearances, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Phillies do expect him to rejoin the squad on September 1, however.

Our View: Eaton has been an unmitigated disaster this season, disappointing the Phillies and fantasy owners alike. He has a 5.80 ERA with just four wins and eight losses.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 7/28, 12:00 PM CT
The Phillies have demoted Adam Eaton to the minors, the Sports Network confirms. Eaton accepted the option, and the report did not say where he will be headed.

Our View: Something had to give following the Joe Blanton trade and the return of Brett Myers. The Phillies continue to look at other trades to bolster their bullpen. It'll be mildly interesting to see if Eaton continues as a starter or reliever. Either way, we don't expect any fantasy value.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 7/18, 5:23 PM CT
Phillies pitcher Adam Eaton has been moved out of the rotation and into the bullpen to make room for newly acquired Joe Blanton, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Eaton has been bad, with an ERA of 5.71 and only three wins in 19 starts. He should not have been on anyone's fantasy team before this, and certainly should not be now.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 7/7, 7:19 PM CT
Adam Eaton left Monday night's game against the Mets after allowing eight runs (six earned) on 10 hits in 2.2 innings of work. Eaton was replaced by reliever Clay Condrey.

Our View: Eaton wasn't hit hard, received a bad first inning call from the second base umpire Dan Iassogna, and didn't get much help from his defense. The balls just kept finding holes and Eaton was gone before the Phillies could even score a run.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 6/20, 9:32 PM CT
Adam Eaton was torched for 12 hits and six runs in five innings against the Angels as he fell to 2-5 on the year.

Our View: Eaton was actually on a run of 5-straight games allowing three of fewer runs, a streak that came to a crashing halt tonight. Eaton just isn't worth starting in mixed leagues as the upside just isn't worth enough to out pace the risk.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 6/15, 11:02 AM CT
Adam Eaton turned in another solid start on Saturday despite suffering the loss. He went 6 2/3 innings and allowed just three runs. The righthander has pitched at least six innings in his last five starts and has allowed no more than three runs in each.

Our View: He made an early mistake yesterday and got a fastball up to Adam Kennedy, who hit it for a two-run homer in the first. Eaton allowed another run in the third on three singles, all the Cardinals would muster against the right-hander.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 6/14, 5:43 PM CT
Philadelphia RHP Adam Eaton suffered his fourth loss of the season today as his Phillies were able to manage just four hits to score twice, coming just short in the 3-2 loss to St. Louis. Eaton lasted 6 2/3 innings to allow three runs (all earned) on nine hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

Our View: Eaton had earned wins in each of his last two outings before today, but the trend for home runs allowed (six in his last six starts) is concerning.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesTuesday 6/3, 9:22 PM CT
Philadelphia RHP Adam Eaton picked up his second win of the season this evening as the Phillies put the 3-2 win on the Cincinnati Reds. Eaton pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing just one run on three hits with no walks surrendered and five strikeouts.

Our View: Eaton was just 1-3 through the month of May, but his performance this evening could be a sign of better days to come.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 5/28, 9:35 PM CT
Philadelphia RHP Adam Eaton was everything the Phillies needed and more this evening, helping his team to a dominating 6-1 win over Colorado. Eaton pitched six innings, allowing just one run on four hits with one walk and four strikeouts.

Our View: Eaton was 0-3 in five starts through May before this evening, getting his first win of the season despite strong efforts in April.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 5/17, 10:02 PM CT
Phillies starter Adam Eaton allowed four runs on eight hits in five innings to remain winless in nine starts this season.

Our View: Eaton walked two and struck out three in the loss. His K:BB ratio (27:24) is just not acceptable for a pitcher who only has a 4.98 K/9 Rate.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 5/11, 7:06 PM CT
Adam Eaton allowed two runs on five hits, walked five and struck out four in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Our View: Eaton didn't factor into the decision but the five walks elevated his pitch count to the point he couldn't continue after pitching five solid frames.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 5/1, 9:01 PM CT
Adam Eaton, surprisingly, pitched well on Thursday allowing only two runs in six innings against the Padres. Eaton walked two, struck out two, and permitted five hits in the no-decision.

Our View: Eaton continues to be a middling pitcher with a propensity to either blow up or end up injured. Don't let this start fool you, but it was his fifth time in six outings that he has allowed three of fewer runs.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 4/25, 2:23 PM CT
Adam Eaton will be seeking his first win of the season when he takes the mound against the Pirates tonight, according to MLB.com. He has four no decisions, with a 4.74 ERA and 1.34 WHIP over 24.2 innings pitched.

Our View: His WHIP is passable, but his ERA remains poor, meaning he shouldn't be in your lineup tonight. He will duel with lefty Zach Duke, who is also winless at 0-1.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 4/14, 10:29 AM CT
Adam Eaton and Kyle Kendrick will swap spots in the Phillies' rotation, according to Philadelphia Daily News. The team decided they would rather keep Eaton on his normal pitching day and allow Kendrick an extra day. Pitching coach Rich Dubee noted, "It's to keep Adam on his fifth day, for one thing; he's been throwing the ball very well. Also it does give us an opportunity to pitch Adam on Sunday against the Mets."

Our View: Eaton holds a 3.95 ERA so far, with two no decisions.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 4/5, 4:25 PM CT
Adam Eaton threw 95 pitches and completed 7.2 innings on Saturday as he allowed three runs in a no decision against the Reds. A very encouraging outing for Eaton who has struggled most of the time since coming to Philadelphia last year. It wasn't all roses as he allowed 10 base runners and a home run, but if you are expecting Eaton to help in the ratio categories then we have a bridge we want to sell you.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 3/29, 9:53 AM CT
Adam Eaton has locked up a spot in the Phillies rotation, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "Eaton is our fifth guy," Manuel said. "He was our fifth guy going in, and no one took it away from him." Lucky for Eaton that no one else stepped up, because he finished the spring with an ugly 7.41 ERA and allowed 30 hits in 17 innings.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 3/28, 9:55 AM CT
Phillies manager Charlie Manuel appeared ready to go with Adam Eaton as his fifth starter until Eaton gave up seven runs on 11 hits over 4 2/3 innings on Thursday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I don't know," Manuel said. "We'll see when we get there. We've got plenty of time. [Next] Saturday's a long way off. Hell, I might be dead by then." Eaton still should have the inside track, but we'll have to wait to see what Manuel says as next Saturday grows closer.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 3/27, 3:47 PM CT
Adam Eaton, who gave up seven runs on 11 hits over 4 2/3 innings, took the Thursday spring loss to the hard hitting Detroit. Eaton walked two and struck out only one Tiger hitter.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 3/21, 6:05 PM CT
Adam Eaton, surprisingly, had a solid outing on Friday limiting the Twins to a single run in 5.1 innings. Eaton had four punchouts and didn't walk a batter on the afternoon. Eaton still has a 5.85 ERA this spring and has been dealing with a sore back, so while this was an encouraging outing we certainly wouldn't get all giddy about a guy who has been injured and posted a 6.29 ERA last season.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 3/15, 4:58 PM CT
Adam Eaton has been battling a herniated disk in his back but returned to the mound on Saturday and did a great job as he threw three scoreless innings against Minnesota, while allowing five hits with no walks and two strikeouts. This performance will help him keep his bottom spot in the Phillies' rotation.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 3/12, 11:28 PM CT
Adam Eaton threw a bullpen session Wednesday and is slated to pitch in a minor league game Friday, according to the AP. Eaton is dealing with a herniated disk in his back. He is the favorite to hold down the final spot in the Phils rotation, but he'll have to show he's healthy.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 3/10, 12:34 PM CT
Adam Eaton has a herniated disk in his back according to the AP. He also has slight arthritis in his back and team trainer Scott Sheridan said,"The most important thing to know about that is it's not pressing against the nerve root, which is really what your concern is. All of his symptoms are centrally located in his back. He has long-tossed the last two days and he's going to try to throw a bullpen tomorrow." Eaton has allowed seven runs and 10 hits in two starts this spring.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 3/9, 2:39 PM CT
Adam Eaton will skip his next start due to his ailing back, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "We're giving it a couple days off," said Eaton. "The MRI results were .... slight herniated disc. And some arthritis on the right side. Which is kind of what we knew going in. But it's official." He could get back into game action on Saturday, but he's going to be cutting it close for the beginning of the season if he doesn't resume pitching relatively soon.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 3/7, 9:38 AM CT
After being pulled from Thursday's game after two innings due to back pain, Adam Eaton admitted that he's had two sets of X-rays taken on his back over the past two weeks, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I'm still an optimist," Eaton said, "so I'd still like to go out there in the next 5 days and go out there and be healthy and ready to go. But at the same time, I'm not going to do what I did last year and go out there and pitch hurt and hurt the team." Doctors were looking for stress fractures in the vertebrae of his back but apparently didn't find any. It sounds like they may shut him down for a while to rest up.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 3/6, 5:23 PM CT
Adam Eaton lasted only two innings on Thursday before being removed from the game due to back pain, this according to MLB.com. "Obviously, I didn't make good pitches. But at the same time, my back acted up a little bit and I didn't get good extension on anything." Given the fact that Eaton also experienced some issues in his last start, he is about ready to find him self in the trash heap of waiver wire starters. Given his hideous performance last year (6.29 ERA, 1.63 WHIP), Eaton shouldn't be touched right now.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSaturday 3/1, 7:58 PM CT
Adam Eaton wasn't good in his first Grapefruit League outing of 2008. He surrendered three singles and a three-run home run in the first inning. Eaton completed two innings Saturday allowing five hits, three earned runs, walking three and striking out two.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 2/13, 9:37 AM CT
Adam Eaton will have to earn his spot in the rotation this spring despite his big contract, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I'd say he definitely has the inside track, without a doubt," manager Charlie Manuel said of Eaton. "But that doesn't mean that somebody can not move him out." Eaton won 10 games but posted a ghastly 6.29 ERA in 30 starts in his first year with the Phils last season. He'll have to hold off Chad Durbin, J.D. Durbin and Travis Blackley for the No. 5 spot in the rotation. Kris Benson would also be in the mix if he signs on as expected.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 11/7, 11:01 AM CT
Adam Eaton had an MRI on his sore right shoulder two weeks ago and the team is still waiting on the results. "It's not something we requested," GM Pat Gillick said in the Philadelphia Inquirer. "He had some discomfort and he wanted to have it." The club isn't too concerned about Eaton, saying the MRI was to put the pitcher's mind at ease more than anything else.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesTuesday 10/2, 1:33 PM CT
Not surprisingly, the Phillies have left Adam Eaton off their NLDS roster. Eaton had a very disappointing year after signing a $24.5 million, three-year in the offseason, as he held a 6.29 ERA and 1.63 WHIP in 30 starts. "Because of the way others have performed, he's the odd man out," GM Pat Gillick said in the AP. Eaton didn't sound surprised by the decision. "It's the best case for the team," he said.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 9/6, 10:30 AM CT
The Phillies have pushed Adam Eaton's next start from Saturday to Tuesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The team has not announced how their rotation will settle this weekend. We imagine the Phillies will use J.D. Durbin on Friday, followed by Jamie Moyer, Kyle Lohse, and Kyle Kendrick on Saturday-Monday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesTuesday 8/28, 2:37 PM CT
The Phillies activated Adam Eaton from the DL on Tuesday to start against the Mets. He had been sidelined with shoulder inflammation. Eaton has been a disaster this year, holding a 6.36 ERA in 24 starts this year, and there's no reason to pay him any attention in fantasy right now.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 8/26, 6:59 AM CT
Adam Eaton said he would make Tuesday's start against the Mets. "As far as I know, that's the plan," he told the AP. Charlie Manuel said that he would talk to pitching coach Rich Dubee about Eaton's status for Tuesday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 8/23, 9:50 PM CT
Adam Eaton is scheduled to throw 40 pitches in a rehab start for Double-A Reading on Friday. If all goes well, he could start early next week, according to the AP. "It's feeling better," Eaton said of the shoulder injury that forced him to the DL.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 8/23, 11:16 AM CT
Adam Eaton threw 35 pitches in the bullpen on Wednesday and reported progress with his sore right shoulder, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He is on the DL due to shoulder inflammation and can be activated next Monday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 8/16, 7:43 AM CT
Adam Eaton has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Saturday. He's dealing with right shoulder inflammation. J.D. Durbin will start in his place Friday against the Pirates.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 8/13, 10:50 AM CT
Adam Eaton is scheduled to start on Friday against the Pirates, but the club may use a different option. "I haven't made up my mind yet about it," manager Charlie Manuel tells the Philadelphia Inquirer. Eaton owns a 7.94 ERA over his last 10 starts. J.D. Durbin would likely start if Eaton were replaced.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 11/27, 3:44 PM CT
ESPN.com reports that the Phillies have agreed with Adam Eaton on a three-year deal worth $24 million. The contract includes a mutual option for a fourth year that could bring the overall package to more than $33 million. He made just 13 starts for the Rangers in 2006 due to a right middle finger injury. It'll be good for Eaton to go back to the National League, but considering that he allows plenty of flyballs, Citizens Bank Park may not suit him too well.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 8/6, 5:49 PM CT
Adam Eaton was ejected from Sunday's game in the first inning. Immediately after giving up a home run, Eaton threw a pitch behind Juan Rivera and was then tossed. Eaton was terrific in his second start but allowed two hits and three earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning on Sunday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 7/30, 10:59 PM CT
Adam Eaton, who missed his scheduled start on Sunday due to food poisoning, will make his next start on Tuesday against Minnesota, according to the AP. He said he felt better after getting medication, then sleeping most of Saturday and until around noon on Sunday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesSunday 7/30, 10:03 AM CT
Adam Eaton will miss Sunday's scheduled start while dealing with a bout of food poisoning, according to the Dallas Morning News. He will be replaced by lefty John Koronka, who had been scheduled to pitch Monday. If Eaton is recovered, he'll pitch Monday, otherwise, the Rangers will likely turn to John Rheinecker, who is currently scheduled to pitch Tuesday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesWednesday 7/26, 9:43 PM CT
Adam Eaton feels good the day after his first start of the year, according to the AP. He had been out the whole year with a surgically repaired middle finger on his pitching hand. Eaton, who gave up three runs in 3 2/3 innings, is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesTuesday 7/25, 7:12 PM CT
As expected, the Rangers activated Adam Eaton from the DL on Tuesday to start against the Yankees, according to the AP. He has been out all season long following surgery on his right middle finger.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesFriday 7/21, 9:08 AM CT
Adam Eaton is expected to be activated from the DL on Tuesday to start against the Yankees, according to the Dallas Morning News. Eaton, who has been out all season following surgery on his right middle finger, has been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma. He is expected to join the Rangers today.
Adam Eaton, P, Colorado RockiesThursday 7/20, 6:22 PM CT
Adam Eaton pitched in a rehab assignment for Triple-A Oklahoma on Thursday, according to the AP. He threw four innings, allowing one run, three hits, two walks, and striking out six. Manager Buck Showalter said that Eaton, who is on the DL recovering from surgery on his right middle finger, might make one more rehab start before rejoining the Rangers. He could, however, pitch on July 25 against the Yankees instead.
