Ryan Klesko officially announced his retirement according to his agent Joe Sambito on Friday, this according to the AP.

Our View: Klesko ends his career as a .279 hitter with 278 HR and 987 RBI, and his best season was 2001 when he hit .286-30-113-105-23 for the Padres. We wish him well in retirement.
