Our View: Manager Cito Gaston didn't sound optimistic about Scuatao playing again this season, but he apparently looked pretty good during his batting practice session. Don't rely on him making a comeback this season, but there is a chance he comes back for the final few games.

Our View: Scutaro wants to play, but the problem is that he isn't able to do so, and likely won't be able to do so for the rest of the season. The heel isn't improving much, so don't expect to see him again in 2009.

Our View: Of course, they would first have to offer Scutaro arbitration to get the compensatory draft picks they are in line for should he sign somewhere else.
