The Giants designated specialist Steve Kline for assignment on Saturday, this according to the San Francisco Chronicle. While Kline didn't sport spring numbers deserving of a role in the Giants pen he was surprised by the move. "Shocked," Kline told the paper. "What else can you be? Hopefully I can sign up with another team and play my a- off somewhere else and try to bring something good for another team." It's likely Kline will find a role with an organization for a veteran left-hander out of the pen. |
