Mikael Tellqvist, G Friday 11/21, 3:21 PM CT
Mikael Tellqvist is expected to start on Saturday follwing Ilya Bryzgalov 's 11th straight start on Friday, according to the team's website.

Our View: Tellqvist is 1-1 with a 2.00 GAA. He will likely continue to play very little as the No. 1 keeper has performed exceptionally well.
Keith Yandle, D Friday 11/21, 3:23 PM CT
NHL.com reports that Coyotes' defenseman Keith Yandle has five assists in his past six games and leads the blueliners with nine points.

Our View: He's on a nice little streak and if he's available, he might be worth the risk.
Derek Morris, D Friday 11/21, 8:13 PM CT
Derek Morris was forced out of Friday's game against Carolina in the second period with an upper-body injury, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: His return to the ice is questionable. He has been a non-factor as a fantasy defenseman with only one goal and one assist over 17 games.
Enver Lisin, RW Friday 11/21, 8:17 PM CT
Enver Lisin has been recalled by the Coyotes from AHL San Antonio, according to the Associated Press. The club placed Daniel Winnik on injured reserve as the corresponding move.

Our View: The 22-year-old winger is not likely going to see enough ice time to register a blip on the fantasy radar.
Shane Doan, RW Friday 11/21, 8:51 PM CT
Shane Doan scored his 11th goal of the season in Friday's 5-2 loss to Carolina.

Our View: He has scored a goal in back-to-back games for the second time this season, and remains the Coyotes' most productive player as he has 19 points over 18 games.
Daniel Winnik, C Tuesday 11/18, 10:01 PM CT
Coyotes forward Daniel Winnik, who suffered a bruised midsection when he was struck by a puck during Monday's practice, sat out Tuesday night's game, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View: Winnik has only registered one point in 15 games and he doesn't hold any fantasy value.
Shane Doan, RW Tuesday 11/18, 11:26 PM CT
Shane Doan scored the game-tying goal in the third period to send the Coyotes into shootouts against the Blackhawks. The goal was Doan's 10th of the year but Phoenix loss to the Blackhawks in shootouts.

Our View: Doan has been the best contributor for the Coyotes this year and continues to lead the team in goals and points.
Shane Doan, RW Saturday 11/15, 10:56 PM CT
Shane Doan keeps on adding points for Phoenix, as he added his eighth assist of the year in the Coyotes' 3-2 loss to Phoenix.

Our View: Doan wears the C for a reason in the desert, as he continues to lead by example for the Coyotes.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Saturday 11/15, 10:58 PM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov had a down game for the Coyotes, allowing three goals on just 19 Dallas shots.

Our View: This poor performance probably can be attribute do Bryzgalov starting on back-to-back nights. It's probably not a good game to judge him by, as he's been rather solid this year.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Friday 11/14, 6:16 PM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov will likely start for the Coyotes on Saturday when the club takes on the the Stars, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Why wouldn't he start? Bryzgalov is 13th in the league with a .917 SV% in his 13 appearances, and though he is just 3-4 against the Stars in his career, his save percentage in those matchups is a stellar .927.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Thursday 11/13, 10:14 PM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov permitted four shots to slip past him in the Coyotes' 4-0 loss to the Wild. On the night Bryzgalov made 28 saves to fall to 7-6.

Our View: Bryzgalov wasn't at his best on this night, he lost a 3-game winning steak, but he still did a decent job keeping his mates in the game as all four Wild goals game on the power-play.
Shane Doan, RW Wednesday 11/12, 9:34 PM CT
Shane Doan scored a pair of goals and added an assist in the Coyotes' 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Our View: Doan has been the Coyotes most consistent goal scorer. He has nine goals and eight assists in 14 games.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Sunday 11/9, 9:37 PM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov played brilliantly on Sunday night stopping 30 of 32 shots in the Coyotes 4-2 victory over the Sharks.

Our View: Bryzgalov was a bit spotty early in the year, but he has really turned it around of late allowing two or fewer goals in five of his last six appearances. The Coyotes may not win enough for Ilya to be a top level option, but he is clearly worthy of starting every time he is between the pipes.
Olli Jokinen, C Sunday 11/9, 9:47 PM CT
Olli Jokinen scored two goals, one was an empty netter, and he also produced an assist in the Coyotes 4-2 victory over the Sharks.

Our View: Jokinen is, all of a sudden, up to 16 points in 13 games after recording three goals and two assists the past two nights. There is no reason to expect Olli to be anything less than a 30-goal scorer with at least 75 points this season.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Saturday 11/8, 10:30 AM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov will start in goal for the Phoenix Coyotes when they face the Florida Panthers on Saturday, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: The Panthers have lost five in a row, and they won't have it easy against Bryzgalov, who is playing well for fantasy owners despite his 4-5 record. He carries a .913 save percentage and 2.68 GAA with him into the game.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Saturday 11/8, 11:27 PM CT
Phoenix's Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 26 of 27 shots as Phoenix beat Florida 4-1 on Saturday.

Our View: Bryzgalov is now 5-5-0 this season and has posted good enough numbers to operate as a solid No. 2 option in fantasy leagues.
Olli Jokinen, C Saturday 11/8, 11:30 PM CT
Olli Jokinen had a goal and an assist against his former Florida teammates in the Phoenix Coyotes' 4-1 win over the Panthers on Saturday night.

Our View: Jokinen is off to a good start with Phoenix as he has five goals and eight assists in 12 games.
Mikkel Boedker , LW Saturday 11/8, 11:33 PM CT
Mikkel Boedker scored twice as the Coyotes defeated the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Saturday. It marks the first multigoal game of the rookie's early NHL career.

Our View: Boedker has the ability to become a fantasy force but he has yet to produce enough to warrant a starting spot. He has five goals and seven points through 12 games.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Thursday 11/6, 11:45 PM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov posted another strong performance in a Phoenix loss on Thursday, stopping 31-of-32 shots against the Canucks.

Our View: Bryzgalov has played very well this season, but certainly would benefit from playing for a better club.
Daniel Carcillo, LW Tuesday 11/4, 9:14 AM CT
Daniel Carcillo has been placed on the Coyotes fourth line in practice, according to the Arizona Republic/Phoenix Gazette.

Our View: Carcillo is owned in most leagues after having a Sean Avery type season last year. He showed that he could score in addition to racking of penalty minutes. This year, however, Carcillo is yet to register a point in seven games played.
Shane Doan, RW Tuesday 11/4, 11:29 PM CT
Shane Doan scored his seventh goal of the year and added an assist in the Coyotes' 4-2 win over the Flames.

Our View: Doan has had a solid start to the 2008 season with seven goals and five assists.
Ed Jovanovski, D Tuesday 11/4, 11:32 PM CT
It took 10 games but Ed Jovanovski finally netted his first goal of the season in the Coyotes' 4-2 win over the Flames.

Our View: It has been a struggle in the early season for Jovanovski but now he has finally notched that first goal.
Garth Murray, C Monday 11/3, 1:57 PM CT
Garth Murray has been recalled by the Coyotes from AHL San Antonio, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View: Murray scored four goals and an assist over nine games at San Antonio. He failed to register any points over seven games split between Florida and Montreal last season, and won't likely see enough ice time with Phoenix to make an impact.
Drew Fata, D Monday 11/3, 6:31 PM CT
The AP reports that the Phoenix Coyotes have dealt Drew Fata to Ottawa for Alexander Nikulin.

Our View: Fata has been held without a point with six penalty minutes in seven games with San Antonio of the AHL. The 25-year-old notched one assist and four penalty minutes with the New York Islanders in 2007-08. He had three goals, 11 assists and 197 penalty minutes in 71 games with Bridgeport of the AHL.
Olli Jokinen, C Sunday 11/2, 12:18 AM CT
Olli Jokinen scored a pair of goals in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Minnesota.

Our View: Jokinen is fitting in well with his new club as he has scored three goals over his last two games, and has notched 10 points over nine games.
Ilya Bryzgalov, G Sunday 11/2, 12:22 AM CT
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 30-of-33 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Minnesota.

Our View: He has now lost four of his last five starts, and should be limited to a role as a No. 2 fantasy goalie until he and the Coyotes turn things around.
