Player Notes
November 14, 2008
Patrick Lalime got shelled on Friday, allowing six goals on just 17 shots in Buffalo's 6-1 loss.

Our View:Ryan Miller will continue to see most of the time for the Sabres in goal, so Lalime doesn't have much value at this point.
November 14, 2008
Patrick Lalime will start in net for the Sabres on Friday night against the Blue Jackets, according to The Buffalo News. It will be his first game action since October 27th.

Our View:Lalime has been glued to the bench due to the stupendous play of Ryan Miller. Don't look for Lalime to rack up many starts moving forward, but he is still good enough to give the Sabres a shot to win when he is between the pipes.
October 27, 2008
Patrick Lalime had a rough outing on Monday night as he permitted the Senators to score five times on just 28 shots to pick up the loss.

Our View:Lalime will only start about once every six or seven games unless Ryan Miller is injured, so he is nothing more than a handcuff for those that have rostered the Sabres starers in net.
