September 1, 2008 Fredrik Modin believes he is finally healthy and he is ready to put the memory of last seasons nightmare (23 games, 12 points) behind him, according to the Columbus Dispatch. "I feel good," Modin said. "The back feels good. No pain. I'm able to work out in a way that I haven't been able to do for a long time, and I'm ready to play hockey. Our View:The 34 year old Modin is currently slated to skate on the team's second line with rookie center Derick Brassard and newly acquired Raffi Torres on the other wing. Not skating with Rick Nash could hurt Modin's production, but he has scored at least 20 goals in five of his last seven healthy seasons. He may not be worth drafting, but keep an eye on how he starts off. |
