After letting in three early goals to the Blackhawks on Sunday, Jose Theodore held firm, allowing the Capitals to rally for a 4-3 overtime victory.

Our View:The win improved him to 24-7-6 on the season. He's not an elite netminder, but playing in front of Washington's high-powered offense, he doesn't usually have to be.

Our View:Semyon Varlamov struggled on Thursday, allowing Theodore to get a chance today. Still, Varlamov should be between the pipes more often than not going forward.

Our View:Theodore snapped a two game skid with the win and allowed less than three goals for the first time in four contests. Don't forget he had a ten-game winning streak before his last two losses.
