October 6, 2008 Scott Walker will be out for six weeks after undergoing surgery Monday morning to repair a torn ligament in his left hand, according to the Our View:The 35-year-old forward only scored 14 goals and 18 assists last season over 58 games, but held some fantasy value with 115 penalty minutes. Four of his goals were game-winners. |

March 5, 2008 Scott Walker scored a goal and added an assist on Wednesday night for the Canes. Walker has been on a nice run of games with points of late as he has two goals and five assists over the last six games as he has also added 12 PIM as well. |

February 21, 2008 Scott Walker scored a goal, added two assists and was a +3 in the 5-3 Carolina victory over the Thrashers. After a 21 goal, 51 point season last year injuries have limited Walker to just seven goals and 20 points in 40 games in a down second season with the Hurricanes. |
