After missing last game with an undisclosed injury, right wing Viktor Kozlov will be back in the lineup tonight, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:He will likely skate on the second line. Kozlov has three points through nine games this season.

Viktor Kozlov is recovering from his sprained left knee a little bit faster than anticipated and there is hope that he'll be ready to get back into the lineup at some point on the Calgary-Phoenix-Dallas road trip that begins Tuesday at the Saddledome, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Kozlov is a low-end fantasy forward, but the Capitals will be very pleased if he returns sooner than expected.
October 15, 2008
Viktor Kozlov could miss around two weeks with a leg injury, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:He will be missed from the Capitals' top line, but the elite Alexander Ovechkin should still remain productive while he is out.

Viktor Kozlov is out of action due to a mildly strained groin, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:The injury is not believed to be serious, but he will not practice Tuesday. The 33-year-old vet should be ready to go for the regular season, assuming the injury doesn't get worse.
September 24, 2008
Viktor Kozlov had two assists in Wednesday's 4-1 victory over Carolina according to the AP.

Our View:Despite being 33 years old, this is just Kozlov's fourth season in the NHL. He tallied 54 points and a plus-28 last season and it was his best yet. However, that is probably the most you can expect out of him this season.
February 26, 2008
Viktor Kozlov was held out of Tuesday's game due to the flu, according to the AP. Kozlov has just 12 goals and 39 points this season, but hopefully he'll be ready for the Caps' next contest, regardless.

In an effort to spark a docile offense, the Capitals have recalled Eric Fehr from Hershey of the AHL and will stick him on the top line with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom. Fehr is replacing Viktor Kozlov, who will now center the second line, according to the Washington Post. The timing of the move is peculiar, given that Kozlov has six goals and nine points in his last seven games.
