Our View:Kariya has only played in 11 games this year and owners are still waiting to get the winger back.

Our View:The Blues and fantasy owners are ready for Kariya to return. He started the season off very well registering 15 points in just 11 games.

Paul Kariya will miss the Blues next game against the Ducks on Friday night, according to Hockeybuzz.com. Earlier reports said that Kariya would be back in the lineup on Friday but he is still having problems with an injured foot.

Our View:Kariya started the season off very good with 15 points in 11 games and even though he is not playing this weekend, he is getting closer to returning.

Paul Kariya did not participate in practice on Monday and could miss Wednesday's game, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Kariya returned early from the Blues’ West Coast trip to have an MRI on his lower body injury, which is believed to be a sore foot.

Our View:It seems he is targeting a Friday return in Chicago. He has an impressive 15 points in his first 11 games.

Paul Kariya's MRI results were encouraging, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The indications are that he doesn't have any serious problems, and he should be able to return next week against either Buffalo or Chicago.

Our View:Kariya, who has already been ruled out of action for Thursday night, has scored 15 points in 11 games this season, a fabulous start to the season. The Blues would be in trouble if he were to miss an extended period of time. For the moment, no other Blues skater was called up, a good sign that the team believes the injury isn't too serious.

Coach Andy Murray said, "I don't know what the extent of the injury is. He couldn't finish the game. To be honest, I didn't really see the play. I don't really ask. I just find out whether the guy can play or not."

Our View:The team could not confirm the injury, but he was believed to be struck by a shot. He is considered day-to-day. He would be a tough loss if forced to miss time, as he racked up two goals and 13 assists over 11 games.

Kariya continues to be productive for the Blues, having registered 10 points through the Blues' first six games. The Blues would like him to score a few more goals, but the team is winning and Kariya's offense has been a big part of it.

Our View:Kariya is owned in nearly all leagues, but should be signed if he's available, and started if you have him on your roster this weekend with a weak Kings team coming in Friday night.

Our View:Kariya will turn 34 this month, but has not missed a regular season game over the last three seasons, while averaging 75 points over the span. He has a few more productive seasons left in him, and is a solid player to round out a fantasy roster with.

Our View:Kariya had a career-low 16 goals last year, and he needs to be more prolific in that area if the Blues hope to be more successful. Fantasy owners can still use a guy like Kariya, who doled out 49 assists on his way to 69 points last season.

Paul Kariya failed to score for a 17th straight game, coming up short in the Blues' 4-3 shootout win over Montreal. The scoreless streak dates back to the Blues' last road win on February 14th. While he has seven assists over that span, the Blues (and fantasy owners) are finding the growing pains of frustration hard to ignore. Kariya was once a scoring machine, but it appears his game has fallen flat and the time to seek better fantasy options has come.

Paul Kariya's perplexing fall continues as he now has failed to register a point five games and has gone goalless in eight straight games as well. For a player that prides himself on being consistent this is a truly vexing situation. Kariya will certainly pull out of it sometime soon, he is too talented not to, but until he does you might consider finding him a spot on your bench.

Paul Kariya failed to score on Friday night when the Blues faced his former team the Anaheim Ducks. Kariya now has only one goal in seven games and just three in 19 games as his scoring rate has greatly slowed of late. In fact, Kariya has just one assist in his last five games.
