Scott Thornton was back in action for the Kings on Saturday night, according to the LA Times. This after sitting out six games because of an upper-body injury. Thornton has missed several games this year to injury. In 41 contests this season, the Kings forward has five goals and two helpers.

Scott Thornton was held out of Saturday's game after he had trouble during the morning skate with a neck injury, according to the LA Times. He's expected to return for the Kings' next game.

The Kings placed Scott Thornton on injured reserve on Thursday with wrist injury, according to Sportsticker. He suffered the injury in a 7-4 victory over Edmonton on December 28 and has missed the Kings' last three games.
