November 14, 2008 There is speculation that the Blackhawks are interested in acquiring Michael Nylander from the Capitals, according to the Our View:The 36-year-old vet would be a good addition for a young Chicago club, and would namely strengthen their power play. |

October 13, 2008 Michael Nylander had a goal and two assists, and was a +2 in the Capitals 5-1 win over the Canucks. Our View:Nylander is a solid fantasy opttion when healthy, and not has four points in three games this year. |

September 29, 2008 Michael Nylander continued a nice preseason by assisting two goals in Monday night's 3-2 win over New Jersey. Our View:Nylander only played in 40 games last season but was able to contribute 37 points. He is fully recovered from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the second half of last season. Expect a similar rate of scoring from him this season. |
