February 11, 2008 Doug Weight has an upper-arm injury that has bothered him for the last week, and that's why he sat out Sunday afternoon's game in Detroit, according to the LA Times. Weight flew to Anaheim and will undergo an MRI exam Monday to determine how severe it is. "It's an injury that happened 10 days ago," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. "He was getting better and getting better. The game against the [New York] Islanders, he fell on it and hurt it again. And he's been basically ineffective." Weight has only one point in his last 12 games and is a mere shell of the stud he was once upon a time in Edmonton. |
