Bill Guerin left Saturday's game with an eye injury. He was injured in the first period but returned for two shifts in the second before exiting, according to the AP.

The Islanders signed Bill Guerin to a two-year contract on Thursday, according to the AP. He'll help the Isles deal with losing Jason Blake and Ryan Smyth this offseason. He's not what he once was, but he can still put the puck in the net at a decent clip.

The Sharks are listing Bill Guerin as questionable for this evening's Game 6 against the Red Wings, according to the San Jose Mercury News. He took a slap shot to the mouth in Game 4 and missed Game 5, as a result. Whether he plays tonight depends on the results of a CT scan, which will be performed earlier in the day.

Bill Guerin sat out Saturday for the third straight game just as a precaution, according to the Mercury News. Guerin has been battling a groin injury. "He could've played," Coach Ron Wilson said. "But then you're risking that he wouldn't play the next two or three games. We shut him down this weekend, so that he'd be ready to compete when we go into the playoffs."

The Sharks acquired Bill Guerin from the Blues on Tuesday in exchange for left wing Ville Nieminen, college forward Jay Barriball and a first-round pick in the 2007 draft, according to the AP. Guerin, who was leading the Blues in goals (28) and points (47) this season, is slated to become an unrestricted free agent in July.

Bill Guerin, who could be on the move at the trading deadline later this month, had a hat trick for St. Louis on Tuesday night, giving him 25 goals for the season. It was Guerin's seventh NHL hat trick and first since March 3, 2004, when he was with Dallas.
