May 4, 2008 Alexei Kovalev generated a goal and an assist in Saturday's Game 5 loss to the Flyers. Montreal lost the series 4-1, but Kovalev did his job as he scored five points over the five games. Our View:Kovalev ended the playoffs with 11 points (five goals), but didn't receive enough support to get past Philadelphia. |

April 24, 2008 Alexei Kovalev scored two goals on Thursday night in the Habs OT victory over the Flyers. Our View:Kovalev has been in the middle of a lot of scoring in the playoffs with four goals and four assists in eight games. Look for that level of production to continue as long as the Habs are playing. |
