Fedorov, who suffered a sprained left shoulder during an exhibition game four weeks ago, could return to action as early as this weekend. "We’ll know more soon," coach Gerard Gallant said. Fedorov was originally expected to miss the first three weeks of the season, but it now appears he will be back sooner than that. "I knew always I’d be a little earlier," Fedorov said. "But the proper question is about my being healthy. The shoulder feels good (but needs strengthening). We’ll have a better idea in five days."
