Steve Mason blocked 30-of-31 shots in Saturday's 1-0 OT loss at Nashville.

Our View:Mason had a strong performance, but was forced to take a loss due to no offensive support from his teammates. On the positive side for fantasy owners, Mason bounced back after giving up three or more goals in each of his previous three starts.

Steve Mason stopped 29-of-32 shots in tonight's 5-3 win over the Oilers at Nationwide Arena.

Our View:Mason was not overly sharp, but his teammates provided enough offensive support for him to collect his 17th win of the season. He still remains a disappointment with a 3.17 goals-against average for the season though, after holding a 2.29 mark during his rookie campaign of 2008-09.

Steve Mason will start against Edmonton on Monday, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Our View:Mathieu Garon has played better than Mason of late, though with the Blue Jackets out of playoff contention, the wins don't really matter at this point. In an effort to gear up for the future, look for Mason to get the vast majority of the starts from here on out.
