March 18, 2010 James Wisniewski has been dealt an eight-game suspension for his brutal hit on Brent Seabrook during Wednesday's battle with Chicago, according to Our View:Wisniewski hit Seabrook in the head, and the NHL gave him a lengthy suspension in a bid to prevent other players from getting hit in the area. He will begin serving the suspension for Friday's game against the Islanders. |

January 29, 2010 James Wisniewski scored the Ducks lone goal in regulation as they managed to best the Lightning 2-1 in shootouts on Friday. Our View:Wisniewski's tally came on the power play, and while he has just three scores on the season, two have come with the man advantage. The Duck blueliner now has 23 total points on the season. |

November 2, 2009 James Wisniewski has been suspended two games by the NHL for his forearm shot to the head of Shane Doan, according to USA Today's Our View:Wisniewski really hammered Doan with the shot to the head, so this action by the league is probably warranted. Wisniewski has been excellent when he has been on the ice for the Ducks this season, as he has nine assists in just nice games played. |
