James Wisniewski scored the Ducks lone goal in regulation as they managed to best the Lightning 2-1 in shootouts on Friday.

Our View:Wisniewski's tally came on the power play, and while he has just three scores on the season, two have come with the man advantage. The Duck blueliner now has 23 total points on the season.

James Wisniewski has been suspended two games by the NHL for his forearm shot to the head of Shane Doan, according to USA Today's Kevin Allen.

Our View:Wisniewski really hammered Doan with the shot to the head, so this action by the league is probably warranted. Wisniewski has been excellent when he has been on the ice for the Ducks this season, as he has nine assists in just nice games played.

James Wisniewski is being considered week-to-week after spraining his right shoulder over the weekend, according to the OC Register. The team will recall defenseman Brendan Mikkelson to take his place on the roster.

Our View:Wisniewski should miss a few weeks with the injury, so find another option if he was on your team. The Ducks should be able to manage without him for as long as he is out, but he will regain his spot when he returns.
