Nathan Paetsch will replace captain Craig Rivet in the Sabres lineup Thursday night, according to the Buffalo News. “It’s an opportunity for Nathan to step in and get some quality playing time," said Sabres coach Lindy Ruff. "We still feel we have six solid NHL defensemen.”
