Andrew Alberts has been shipped from Boston to Philadelphia in exchange for forward Ned Lukacevic and a fourth round pick in the 2009 NHL draft, according to the Providence Journal. The 2009 fourth round pick becomes a 2009 third round pick if the Flyers resign Alberts at the end of his contract which expires on June 30, 2009.

Our View:Alberts played in 181 games for the Bruins, registering one goal, 18 assists and 231 penalty minutes. His fantasy value will not improve with Philadelphia this season.

Andrew Alberts showed no ill-effects on Thursday, one day after returning to the ice for the first time in three months. Alberts was out due to a concussion/neck injury. "Once I got that first hit in, it calmed me down, knowing I could get hit and feel fine. That was the biggest thing for me," he tells the Boston Herald. Alberts expects to play in the final couple contests.
