Owen Nolan had two assists, both coming on the power-play, in his first game back on ice after missing time with a lower body injury.

Our View:Nolan isn't likely to light up the scoreboard on a nightly basis despite six points in six games, so don't expect the hot start to continue. If you have been lucky enough to receive the benefit of his play in the early going, now might be the time to move him to a less savvy owner.

Winger Owen Nolan should play for the Minnesota Wild on Thursday when the team takes on the Phoenix Coyotes, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Our View:Nolan had one of the lower-body injuries that are now so famous in the NHL, but he has seemingly recovered. He has one goal and three assists so far this year.

Owen Nolan, who has been recovering from a lower-body injury, returned to practice Tuesday, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:He has not played since October 29 against Dallas. He was unable to finish practice as coach Jacques Lemaire told him to stop after he noticed Nolan slowing down. The team does not want to risk aggravating his injury, and it remains uncertain when he may play.
